I need an outlet to write about my husband and our life in this new and grievous cancer diagnosis. Feel free to mute if you need more uplifting content in your feed as I might pour out some raw thoughts… 🙃
Lol - comments off…
Haley Stevens has chosen to dangerously betray Michigan families’ healthcare, freedoms and future with her horrific endorsement of Mike Rogers.

UPDATE: THREE DAYS AGO A JUDGE ORDERED EVERY MICHIGAN CLERK TO KEEP THE NOVEMBER 3 POLL BOOKS. DO NOT DELETE.
YESTERDAY MICHIGAN SECRETARY OF STATE JOCELYN BENSON ASKED THE COURT OF APPEALS TO UNDO THE JUDGE'S TRO IN AN "EMERGENCY APPLICATION."
TODAY WE ANSWERED: NOT SO FAST. Read it all for yourself below.
Our answer, in one sentence: Benson's emergency application to appeal "asks leave to destroy the evidence while the court decides whether destroying it is lawful."
Benson never even asked the trial judge to pause the order first. The reason? It "would not be expedient."
Guess what? Michigan's court rules say you can't ask the Court of Appeals for a stay unless the trial court decided one first.
It's like math. You can't skip steps.
So she's ALSO asking the Court of Appeals to waive the rule for no good reason.
What the Judge's TRO costs the Department: ONE memo telling clerks not to delete.
What clerks face without the Judge's TRO: a federal law that punishes willfully failing to keep election records with up to a YEAR in federal prison.
"The Department's harm is a memorandum. The clerks' harm is a statute with a jail term."
Benson asked for a ruling by November 10. Stay tuned.
HEY BENSON, LEAVE THE CLERKS' FLASH DRIVES ALONE.

BREAKING: A MICHIGAN COURT JUST ORDERED BENSON TO TELL EVERY CLERK IN THE STATE TO KEEP THE NOVEMBER 3 POLL BOOKS.
The Court's words to Jocelyn Benson, Michigan Secretary of State: "Defendants are directed to instruct all local election officials to retain the EPBs from the November 3 General Election."
And Benson's deletion rule? "Defendants are precluded from enforcing Rule 168.48 pending the resolution of this matter."
Benson's rule: DELETE the poll book files 7 days after the election is certified.
Federal law: KEEP election records 22 months.
One township clerk asked which law to follow. Nobody answered. So Michelle McQueer sued.
In August, the Court protected her file, the ONLY one known to still exist, and barred enforcing the rule against her.
Today it extended that protection to EVERY clerk in Michigan, on an additional request from the RNC and Michigan Republican Party, who joined her case this month. Glad to have them in the fight.
Along the way, @TheJusticeDept and the @CivilRights division told the Court the Secretary "remains ultimately responsible" for preserving poll book data. And Benson's own data manager swore the list each precinct downloaded for Election Day "need not be uploaded."
Reconstruction is not preservation.
This isn't the final ruling. But no November poll book gets deleted while the judge decides. That's all one clerk asked for.
ONE CLERK. ONE QUESTION. EVERY NOVEMBER POLL BOOK SAVED.

My stepsister lives on Mt Baldy, and is also a professional photographer. She sent these beautiful photos yesterday. The Lord doesn’t show His face, but he shows us His glory.
It reminds me of something poetic…
““Days pass, and the years vanish, and we walk sightless among miracles.
God, fill our eyes with seeing and our minds with knowing;
let there be moments when
Your Presence,
like lightning, illumines the darkness in which we walk
Help us to see, wherever we gaze…
“But here's the one prep NOBODY is talking about - your soul.
You'll never be prepared "enough" for what might soon come. But are you and your family prepared for what comes after all of this?…”
🚨OK, we've been FLOODED with "doomsday" questions - mainly because you all know how closely we work with the government. We're not going to fear monger - and there are also things we can't discuss. So here's what we'll share.
Governments from Britain to Japan are now telling households to stockpile food and water while the Pentagon plans for bases to run 90 days completely off the grid.
⠀
The UK launched its Be Ready campaign on October 22, directing every household to keep three days of supplies including three liters of drinking water per person per day and non-perishable food that needs no fridge or cooking.
Prime Minister Andy Burnham told BBC Radio he already has plenty of beans and soup stocked, adding "I do like my beans, so I have plenty of those in the cupboard." Supermarket reports noted spikes in sales of tinned goods after the advice went out.
⠀
Japan's Disaster Management Minister Goshi Hosono said he will issue a nationwide emergency request on November 2, the day the new Disaster Management Agency launches, urging at least three days of food, water and toilet supplies, preferably a week. The guidance is not new but the fresh push comes as the government prepares for major earthquakes and other disasters where relief could be delayed.
⠀
In Normandy, the prefecture posted on October 27: "Don't wait for the emergency: prepare now!" for a 72-hour kit with water, non-perishable food, medicines, a torch, radio, cash and documents.
France and the EU have long recommended self-sufficiency for at least 72 hours, matching advice from Germany (up to 10 days), Sweden, Norway, Switzerland, Estonia and others who already push for a week or more.
⠀
The United States has no matching national number for homes beyond Ready.gov's call for food and water to last several days. Yet former FBI Deputy Director Dan Bongino told his audience "Your neighbors are not going to have any extra food" and urged people to make "Fortress My House" with at least three days of supplies, an emergency radio and water filtration.
⠀
He contrasted that with the Pentagon's FORTRESS initiative, which aims for every major continental US base to operate at least 90 days without civilian power, water, fuel or supply lines, as reported by Fox News from internal planning documents.
Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth has said every major installation will generate its own power independent of the civilian grid.
⠀
Three days for most homes. Ninety days for a US base. Gonna let you think about that one.
But here's the one prep NOBODY is talking about - your soul.
You'll never be prepared "enough" for what might soon come. But are you and your family prepared for what comes after all of this?
Last we checked, the mortality rate in America for life is hovering around 100%. So where are you going after? Because none of us are making it off this planet alive.
The most important preparation you can make right now for you and your family is turning to Jesus. Get yourself a Bible and get yourself into a good Bible-based church right now (we recommend @thecoe22).
Tomorrow isn't promised... but for those who believe in Jesus, eternity with Him IS.

So, basically, 500 million Europeans expect 300 million Americans to protect them from 120 million Russians who can’t even defeat 40 million Ukrainians while those 500 million Europeans don’t even realize they are being conquered by 2 billion Muslims who claim they are being persecuted by 8 million Israelis. Is that about right?

I happened on the song list on my phone this evening. I used to play songs from the list when driving around with my husband before he was gone. We were old school - I’d play the songs on You Tube, scrolling from one that we liked to the next. Delta Dawn, the Seashores of 1/
Old Mexico, Sitting on the Dock of the Bay, Cry to Me, Ain’t No Sunshine, Bob Seger (anything by him for my husband), the Eagles, Journey…we were so happy. He would drive & smile, and I would spin the tunes & jabber at him. I have so many photos that I took of him in the 2/

Birthdays matter at any age.
Yes we all like to say we stopped counting years ago. For many old people, however, this may be one of the only days of the year they hear from some family members.
Try to make it a special day for them. We do at our assisted living homes.
