So I have a 2025 escalade and not long after purchase things started to go haywire. AC turned on and off and would turn the fan up or down without touching it. Then upon start it would throw multiple system errors, turn the parking break on (while in reverse) and then start on its own. After multiple visits nothing was repaired. Finally i went to the dealer and pushed the lemon law button. @GM is now involved. This begs the question. Two not one but two SGMs (control modules) have been replaced and no fix. Now they are going wire by wire to find a short. When does it end? This vehicle will be torn apart to replace the wiring for the SGM if they find a short. Is this how it works @GM ? Escalades are not cheap and are your flagship vehicle. It costs you nothing to just replace it. Not a happy customer.

The bile that digests your fat is made from cholesterol.

It's funny how the cigar community has a way of bringing people together when you least expect it.
Today, we had some new cabinets and butcher block countertops delivered as we get ready to move our 3D printers out of my office and into the lounge. With demand continuing to grow, I had to order two more printers, bringing us to nine. And trust me, nine printers in one office is just too much! 😂
We've always had pretty good luck with the people who come to do work for us or make deliveries. Somehow, they almost always turn out to be cigar smokers.
Well, today was no exception, but this one came with a pretty cool story.
One of the gentlemen delivering our cabinets recently moved to the United States from Cuba, where he spent his career rolling cigars. How cool is that?!
Of course, when Jessica found out, she invited him into our humidor. He looked around in absolute amazement as she told him to pick out any cigar he wanted.
After taking it all in, his eyes landed on The Jester by @artesanotobacco
He told Jessica it was the most interesting-looking cigar in the humidor, and that was the one he wanted.
So naturally, that's the cigar I decided to wind down my evening with tonight.
My only regret is that I wasn't home for the delivery. I would have loved to sit down with this gentleman, light up a cigar, and listen to his stories. I probably could have talked to him for hours.
A guy who spent his career rolling cigars in Cuba ends up delivering cabinets to a cigar lover's house in Florida. What are the odds?
