And therefore his presence evidently “not conducive to the public good”.
Replying to @ggatehouse
There was a real danger that Andreas Malm might have expressed humanitarian sentiments supportive of the Palestinian people and might even have highlighted the plight of their continuing genocide. The U.K. supports Israel, not the Palestinian people.

🔦A covert ad campaign pushing racist, anti-Muslim, anti-migrant and anti-Qatar propaganda has racked up more than 533 million recorded exposures across Europe, Lebanon and the United States, 30 different countries, since October 2023, according to a new investigation by researchers Marc Owen Jones and Sohan Dsouza. Its funder remains hidden, but several trails lead to Israel. The campaign began with billboards in Lebanon blaming Iran and Hezbollah for the war, with Israel left out entirely. It then blamed Qatar, a key mediator between Israel and Hamas, with ads pressuring Sheikha Moza, the Emir's mother, over Israeli captives and urging boycotts of Qatari-owned brands. It soon escalated into "Great Replacement" conspiracy content describing Qatar as the hidden force "Islamising" Europe. The operation spent over $1.2 million on Meta ads by mid-2024 alone. It ran dozens of fake front groups across six platforms and reached Times Square and a 2024 CPAC stage shortly before Donald Trump spoke. Among the leads the researchers found: ▪️ A campaign poster traced to Johnnie Moore, the evangelical Trump adviser who later led the Gaza Humanitarian Foundation, whose PR firm also publicized a campaign protest
▪️ A Wikipedia sockpuppet network linked to an Israeli IP address
▪️ Video files with Hebrew labels, made on a Sunday-to-Thursday workweek, pointing to an Israel-based production team 🔗 The report and a detailed thread are below. The operation is still running.
Huge news! For 3 years @SohanDsouza & I have investigated a covert paid ad campaign pushing anti-Muslim, anti-migrant & anti-Qatar hate speech across Europe, Lebanon & the US. Today we publish Manufacturing the “Great Replacement”: 533M recorded exposures in 30 countries. 1/25

What if you could change device behaviour, just by talking to it? Create an app. Change it. Edit it. Add personal context. Then completely reinvent what the device is for. WORKS is our limited release of the first ever Promptable Products - physical devices inhabited by AI agents that understand what you want and do what you mean. WORKS launch in November 2026. This is a demo (using a ESP32 device from @M5Stack) showing one possible experience you can create. We’re building @inanimate_tech in public. Jump in, it's gonna be weird.

Our CEO @dillonrolnick sat down with @eastdakota, CEO of @Cloudflare, for a wide-ranging conversation about agents, the future of the internet, and the fight for digital sovereignty. Thanks to the @usv team for hosting!
Yesterday AI was used to uncover major vulnerabilities in the infrastructure of the internet. It's yet another example of how profoundly AI is reshaping the web. But what emerges on the other side is very much up for grabs. We were lucky enough to recently introduce two heroes of the Rebel Alliance @eastdakota, CEO & cofounder of @Cloudflare @dillonrolnick, CEO & cofounder of @NousResearch, the creators of Hermes, the largest open source agent harness in the world. Together they discussed who gets to build, control, and benefit from an internet run by AI It's worth a listen if you care about the future of the web. 0:00 Preview 1:41 From a Discord Group to an AI Lab 8:45 Can Anyone Actually Pause AI? 12:59 Would You Trust an Agent With Your Inbox? 14:58 Why Matthew Wouldn’t Trade Places With Sam or Dario 20:28 The Dead Internet Theory Was Wrong 22:28 Agents Don’t Click Ads. Jensen closed his GTC Berlin 2026 keynote with this Hermes Agent demo as the finale. He introduced it by saying the way to build an agent is to ask an agent to build it for you, so he installed and set up a customized Hermes in one prompt. Then he used Hermes, running on @nvidia RTX Spark, to create a simulated training environment for the @huggingface Microduck. Hermes planned an obstacle course with Nemotron and had GPT-6 Astra build it using FreeCAD, Omniverse libraries, Blender, Newton, and Isaac Lab. Hermes trained thousands of simulated ducks on that course until the validated policy was ready to run on the real robot in the physical world. At Nous, we believe open source is a practical tool as much as a philosophical ideal. It gives users the ability to build powerful, complex workflows chaining numerous local+cloud models, devices, and tools themselves instead of waiting for a company to enable them.

My Zectrix Note 4C devkit e-ink display arrived today. Had my @NousResearch Hermes agent flash it and build a skill that would pull the album art of whatever was playing on a Roon endpoint on my network. Fun surface to throw info onto! Nice hardware @itopinion!

Running Hermes with Honcho? Now you can see what it remembers about you, and fix it, without leaving the chat. @disapprove built Honcho Memory for Hermes, a Hermes Desktop plugin that docks a memory pane beside the conversation you're in: 👉 Memory: every conclusion from the session, newest first, with search. Pick one to see the premises behind it and what was derived from it. 👉 Ask: a question about yourself at the reasoning level you choose, scoped to this session or all of them. 👉 Context: exactly what Honcho would hand your agent right now, at a token budget you pick. 👉 Corrections: add a fact, correct a wrong conclusion, or drop a file into the session. Each one asks you to confirm, then reads the saved result back before it says done. It follows whichever chat you're focused on, across profiles, SSH and remote gateways. No telemetry, and it never touches your credentials. Open source, needs Hermes 0.21.4 or newer with Hermes Desktop. Source and setup notes at go.honcho.dev/KNQpIH8, or one install: hermes plugins install outpoints/hermes-honcho-plugin --enable

🔀 Dynamic Model Escalation For Efficient Evals 💰 Most eval pipelines pick one judge model and run it on everything. If it’s a big model, it’s too slow and too expensive to score production traffic, so teams sample a few percent and hope. If it’s a small model, it’s cheap enough to score every trace, but nobody knows which of its scores to trust. The question isn’t which judge model to use. It’s when the judge should admit it doesn’t know. Here is what we have built at @fiddler_ai as part of our Centor Evaluation Runtime. Two models function with two distinct jobs. A decisioning model sits in the hot path and scores every span/trace in under 100ms. A reasoning model sits behind it and only ever sees what the decisioning model sends it. The interesting part is the handoff. The decisioning model doesn’t just emit a verdict. It emits a verdict plus an uncertainty score about how much that verdict should be trusted, derived from the trace itself and from where this verdict sits relative to everything the model has scored before. That signal is what routes. Traces the decisioning model is sure about keep their score, and that’s the majority of traffic. Traces where the signal says the model is operating outside its competence go to the reasoning model, which re-scores them with the time and context a fast model can’t afford. So the split isn’t fast versus accurate. It acutally works as decide JIT versus deliberate post-hoc analysis. The decisioning model’s job is to be right quickly and to know when it isn’t. The reasoning model’s job is to be right on the cases that need thought. One eval score comes out the other end, and the user never needs to know which model produced it. Ofcourse we keep an audit of all of this if user wants to actually know the details. This is very similar to how humans perform a good on-call rotation. The pager doesn’t wake the senior most engineer (large reasoning model) for every alert. It wakes them for the ones that the on-call engineer (fast decision model) using the the runbook can’t resolve. So, what are the main advantages of this: The reasoning model’s bill is a function of how unusual your traffic is, not how much of it there is, which is the only way scoring every production trace stays affordable. And the escalation queue becomes the most useful dataset you have: a running list of where the decisioning model is weak and where your traffic is drifting. When you label those, feed them back into the next version of the decisioning model, and the escalation rate drops over time. The eval system tunes itself on its own misses. Welcome to the world of self-tuning AI Observability! Eval Models: fiddler.ai/centor-models

Mothin Ali – apology and Correction   On 18 July 2024, I published a post on my X account in which I stated that Mr Mothin Ali, an elected official and Deputy Leader of the Green Party, was involved in the Harehills riots of July 2024 in which people attacked the police.   That statement was incorrect. In fact, Mr Ali was asked by the police to use his position of trust in the community to help bring about peace on the streets. Mr Ali attended the scene for that purpose alone. He was not involved in the disorder or violence in any way, and on the contrary he was one of the principal reasons of bringing an end to the disorder. I offer my sincere apologies to Mr Ali for my post, the harm I caused, and I have agreed to pay him compensation to vindicate his reputation.

France lost on chatbots. France lost on frontier models. Are we really going to lose on AI assistants too? Does it make sense to give an American AI your credit card, your shopping habits, your entire digital life? Or ask it to handle your taxes in France? Did France really peak in the 70s? We dont think so. We're building the best AI assistant on the planet. Powered by open-source models. Built for Europeans. With a French touch. We've just opened our private beta to a select few. Always in favor of more transparency in AI! Today @Secludy launched a public repository of who is buying and selling training data
if you sell AI training data, see how you compare: we found 159 companies selling data, RL envs and evals, every fact sourced plus 38 programs that pay companies for their data: whosellsdata.com 8 of the 14 that pay companies directly publish a dollar range. most of the rest set terms per deal. unknowns are marked and nothing is ranked the other page: what each program wants, who qualifies and what it offers: whosellsdata.com/buying missing something, or something wrong? fix it on the site, a person reviews every change we built this at @Secludy. if you buy, broker or license company data and need the names out before it reaches a lab, dm me
