Palestinian victimhood too often seems deliberately chosen.
Israels withdrawal from Gaza in 2005 was yet another example of the phenomenon.
Gaza ‘could’ have been developed with inward investment from the Arab world and beyond, but it descended into a thuggish state of terror.

This is NOT a concert.
This is NOT a festival.
This is Gaza today.
Tens of thousands of starving people running for a bag of flour 💔
This is what forced starvation looks like.

If only the film Naza could be compulsory viewing for everyone.
Alicia you must be desperate - truly fishing like a Mail snooper into tiny snippets of age old recordings context of which u have no clue trying to sniff out some some dirt on me but you’re not the Daily Mail you’re apparently an MP for gods sake. Really? You’re right the wider subject is serious - very - but you really are not.

Wealthy landlords owned land and could sell it. This is how life works for everyone. Id imagine you snd Mr Powell arent ploughing his great, great grandfather's previous peasant patch either and we all survived.
Do you know that pre Nakba (1948) Palestine was abt the size of Wales, its southern districts of Gaza-Beersheba comprised huge area -half of Mandate Palestine - now its Arab peoples for centuries self sufficient farmers and Bedouin are caged inside the Gaza Strip a prison size of Isle of White or Calderdale district, which Israel is seizing more of by the day

One of the biggest lies repeated about the Palestine question is that the Zionist leadership "accepted" the November 1947 Partition Plan.
It was "accepted" the same way Israel "accepts" ceasefire deals in Lebanon & Gaza.
The moment after the deal is accepted it is violated.
In the case of the partition plan, within weeks of "accepting" the plan, Jewish militias in Palestine attacked Palestinian neighborhoods, villages & cities in areas allocated to the Arab State, including Jaffa, Acre, the Galilee, the Jerusalem Corridor, the Judean Hills, the Latrun area and Jerusalem itself.
Strange how this lie is never debunked in debates about the Palestine question. For a blow-by-blow account of how the Jewish militias violated the partition plan almost from the very beginning of fighting, see: archive.org/details/birthofp… ch.3
This old trope debunked decades ago by Israel’s very own much acclaimed historian Benny Morris

The Arabs removed the Palestinians you numpty! They told them to leave so they could murder every single Israeli and then they could return! That went well didn’t it? The Arabs that chose to stay are a lot happier in Israel than those that left!

There are many ways for Israel to impose famine on Gaza. The traditional method is a siege. This is complemented by a campaign to destroy the international aid network that keeps Palestinians alive. Israel has blocked vital groups from operating in Gaza, while its allies cut funding to those still allowed to be there.
Sadism prevails:
🚨 Due to funding shortages, WFP is forced to reduce food assistance in Gaza by around one-third, meaning half a million people will lose access to critical aid.
The cuts come as winter approaches and the recent modest improvements in food security remain fragile.
From this month, we are supporting 1.1 million of the most vulnerable people in Gaza with food and cash assistance, down from 1.6 million last month. Food rations will also be cut by half.
WFP urgently calls for additional funding in order to keep reaching the most vulnerable in Gaza and the West Bank.
Yes small groups deeply religious Jews had lived for centuries in the 4 holy cities called themselves Palestinian Jews & were Ottoman citizens v different to new settlers taking over land from late 19thc

If you are “now writing on Gaza” at least get your facts right. An indigenous Jewish population continuously lived in Palestine throughout the Ottoman Empire (1516–1918) even tho many had fled to Europe, Russia , etc to escape the deadly persecution and massacres!

Actually -and this is just a fact - Hamas extinguished ISIS as soon as it took root in Gaza after the 2014 stage of the genocide. Hamas detested ISIS and crushed them.
