The SEC just approved limited tokenized stock trading onchain You don’t really understand how bullish this is for Robinhood Chain Robinhood already launched Stock Tokens outside the US through its Jersey entity, The annoying part was that Robinhood was building all of this while its own American users couldn’t even access the Stock Tokens. That is a pretty important limitation when the company building the chain has 28M+ funded customers and the US is its core market. The SEC is now allowing tokenized NMS stocks to be tested onchain under a five-year Innovation Exemption. It is limited, yes, companies can object, yes But Robinhood doesn’t need that to make this massive. They need permission to start connecting their US brokerage infrastructure with the thing they have spent the last year building. Robinhood’s actual endgame is considerably larger than putting a ticker called NVDA on a launchpad. It’s LITERALLY putting NVDA itself onchain. But yesterday one of the biggest unanswered questions around Robinhood Chain was whether the US would actually allow the market it was designed for to exist. Today that answer looks considerably different.
