When are people going to realise that the prize money should be reflective of what the competition generates in income? Women’s World Cup generates less than 10% of the income that the Men’s World Cup does. Why should they be given an equal prize fund?
FIFA has spoken directly to leading women's players to explain why there is still no gender equality on prize funds, sources revealed. According to information shared within FIFA, prize money is being targeted to double to $220m for Brazil 2027 compared with the 2023 Women's World Cup - a dramatic increase from the $30m shared out in 2019.

Imagine writing this out and not even getting the date of implementation right. If you’re going to lie, get the other details right so it’s not obvious. You also left out Chelsea and Tottenham being part of the teams that wanted the rule because they aren’t in the “red cartel”
In case you do not understand the origin and nature of the so-called “115 charges” against Manchester City, allow me to clarify it for you. The English Premier League was formed in 1992. The purpose of the association was to create, centralize and distribute revenues for the member clubs. For the first 19 years of the Premier League's existence, the so-called “Red Cartel,” (Arsenal, Liverpool, and Manchester United) dominated the Premier League and collected the vast majority of revenues. The Red Cartel clubs won 15 of the first 19 Premier League championships. Then something happened. In 2012, Manchester City, the so-called “noisy neighbors” of Manchester United, won the Premier League title. The following year, Manchester United was able to scrape back a narrow victory in the Premier League but have never come close since. In 2014, Manchester City again won the Premier League. Manchester City, owned by a rich Arab Prince named Sheikh Mansour, had put together a world caliber team using his own money. He did not spend more money than the Red Cartel clubs. He just spent it better, on better players, and started to win trophies. Around 2014, the Red Cartel clubs, Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester United, then complained to the Premier League and pushed for new financing rules which were referred to as “financial fair play.” These rules were specifically designed to prevent a club owner from spending their own money to improve their football club. Yes. You read that correctly. In reality, these rules were nothing more than a straightforward “get Manchester City” scheme. They were designed to specifically target Manchester City’s revenue streams, effectively banning City from competing at the highest levels of the sport. It did not work. Over the course of the next 10 years, Manchester City won 6 more Premier League titles, the Champions league, and the so-called “treble;” The Premier League, the Champions league, and the FA Cup in the same year, becoming only the second club to ever do so. Manchester City had set up an arrangement which was legal under the Financial Fair Play rules. This involved the government of Abu Dhabi investing in advertisers, who then subsequently advertised with Manchester City, giving them revenue that they could then spend on new players. This was 100% legal under the Financial Fair Play rules. However, in a case brought in 2018, the Premier League created an “independent commission,” which ruled that Manchester City had violated the byzantine Financial Fair Play rules. The so-called “independent commission” actually consisted of various officials who had either financial or cultural ties to the Red Cartel clubs (Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester United.) Since 2012, the only non “Red Cartel” teams to win the Premier League title are Manchester City, Leicester City, and Chelsea Football Club. Only two other Premier League winners besides Manchester City have ever been accused of violating the financial fair play regulations. Those other two clubs are Chelsea Football Club and Leicester City FC. I hope this explains it. @ManCity @ManCityUS @RealTalkMCFC @ManUtd @City_Xtra @cityreport_ @LCFC @ChelseaFC @premierleague @Arsenal @liamgallagher @LFC @piersmorgan @Erling

No way a man who used to commit GBH every week and get away with it is allowed to comment on how games are officiated.
🚨Oliver Kahn reacts to Eberechi Eze’s controversial goal for Arsenal against Bayern Munich, which was allowed to stand despite offside claims: 🗣️”Look at the frame when the ball leaves Ødegaard’s foot. Eze is already running free, ahead of most of our line, and the only thing keeping him onside is a fraction of Stanisic’s shoulder or boot. That’s not a clear, deliberate defensive position — that’s a lottery. The linesman saw it live and put his flag up immediately. That is what the game looked like at full speed. VAR then spent time drawing millimetre lines and decided the opposite. Being in an offside position is not automatically an offence, yes. But when a player is that far advanced, receives the ball in a dangerous position, and finishes cleanly past Neuer, the burden should be on the attacking team to prove they were level. Here the benefit of the doubt went entirely the other way. We’ve seen goals wiped out for far less this season — for interference that barely exists, for the slightest touch, for being half a step ahead. Yet tonight the technology finds a way to keep Arsenal’s goal. I am not saying the officials are corrupt. I am saying the application is inconsistent, the margins are absurd, and once again the big decision falls in favour of the side that is already being given the benefit of every tight call. Stanisic was not “playing him on” in any meaningful sense; he was caught in a snapshot that VAR chose to interpret in Arsenal’s favour. When the naked eye, the linesman, and the immediate reaction all say offside, and only the drawn lines say otherwise, something is wrong with how this rule is being judged at this level. If a Bayern player had been that far ahead and scored, it would have been disallowed before the ball even hit the net. Tonight the lines only work one way — and that way is against us.”

Viewing this from a footballing perspective rather than as an Arsenal fan for a second. If it worked so well, and Arsenal had no replies Why did the game finish as a draw, and why was only one goal in the game scored like this? You’d expect this to work every time based on this
Forget the late Declan Rice goal and Gyokeres assist, Kompany completely outclassed Arteta tactically tonight. In the absence of Olise, he played Kane deeper and used him as the main creator, with Davies making in-behind runs to hit Arsenal in transition. And it has absolutely worked. Their first goal came from this exact approach. Arteta had no replies to this.

That’s Konsa you fucking spastic 😂 trash account
Leeds were robbed of a penalty there against Arsenal. Gabriel never goes for the ball once, clatters into Calvert-lewin from behind and wraps his arms round his legs. Against any other side in the Premier League, VAR takes another look at that. Flip it round and put it at the other end, and Arsenal are getting that penalty every single time. Once again just no consistency from the VAR officials...

Not our best performance by a long shot. Need to kick into gear and sort out this attacking problem we are facing
WE DON’T BACK DOWN.

Do you understand how a transfer happens? West Ham “didnt want” to sell Rice, Sporting “didnt want” to sell Gyokeres Crystal Palace “didn’t want” to sell Eze. But once the player wants to go, and the money is right. They sell… No one WANTS to sell their players.
Speak now Arsenal fans 👍🏻

Won England player of the year twice, been rested for a Achilles injury. But yeah he’s only a “good player” 🤡
Remember when Saka was a generational talent and if you didn’t agree you was a hater. Now he’s sat on the bench for Noni Madueke. Good player, was never any more than that.

Shut the fuck up you virgin
Havertz goal should’ve been ruled out for handball by Trossard. PSG should’ve had a penalty because of Saka’s handball. We are witnessing corruption in real time.

Yet here you are still talking about Arsenal…
The fact that Arne Slot being sacked has had more noise than Arsenal being in a UCL final is hilarious 🤣
