1. Yes, House Democrats will vote to impeach Trump.
2. However, conviction in the Senate requires 2/3 majority, and that won’t happen.
3. Even if Trump resigned, that would just make @JDVance president, and Democrats don’t want to face an INCUMBENT Vance in 2028.

As an outside, how disastrous is this. I can't get sane analysis anywhere and I appreciate your interpretations. Is he heading for impeachment and dismissal, since they're likely to hold both senate and house.

Woke up disappointed today.
Then I cooked Steak and Eggs.
Somewhere between the sizzle and the first bite, it hit me. Power shifts. It always has. Seasons change, people come and go, and none of it is new.
The steak and eggs are still on the plate.
So am I. Let's go!

🚨What happens if Trump loses the House and Senate?
Clinton & Obama already set precedent.
They weren't done at all in their last 2 years.
Victor Davis Hanson explains:
Clinton fell to 37% approval but left office at about 66%. In between, he was impeached but not convicted and bombed Serbia for 78 days without Congress.
Obama's approval fell to 38% and still left office near 60%. He bombed Libya in 2011 without Congress, ran hundreds of drone strikes in Pakistan, Yemen and Somalia, and started bombing ISIS in Iraq and Syria in 2014 without a new vote. He said "I've got a pen and I've got a phone," and skipped the Senate on the Iran deal and Paris.
Low approval and a hostile Congress didn't finish them. For both, it was the best thing that ever happened to them in some ways.

Tonight isn’t the end of the world. Those of us who remember 2006, 2008, 2012, and 2020 can assure you that it’s not.

Trump’s veto pen is now the only thing that stands between us and the complete Californication of America.

Lots of Republican finger-pointing right now. I am not interested in circular firing squads, and would encourage my fellow conservatives to avoid participating in destructive blame games. We have actual enemies, and must rally to oppose them.

🚨UPDATE IN WESTCHESTER COUNTY: Republicans and Democrats in New York are seeking a joint court order to require central tabulation of ballots at the County Board of Elections. This will ensure maximum transparency and accountability.
RNC observers will be on the ground to monitor the process and protect the vote.

At some point, every pyramid scheme collapses. The object of this scam was to influence expectations. Once it no longer mattered, because voting had begun, the money guys needed to cover costs.
regardless of which team you support: how does a 75%+ favorite swing to underdog on election day?
why would prediction markets get it that bad? what am I missing here?

Turek never reached 75%+ in the Kalshi Iowa Senate market; odds peaked around 52% recently after trailing most of the cycle.
