From Washington to the great American outdoors. 🌲🇺🇸🇬🇧
King Charles III visited Shenandoah National Park today, celebrating a shared love of nature and conservation.
⛰️ Set in the Blue Ridge Mountains, Shenandoah is part of an ancient landscape once joined to the Scottish Highlands, linking the UK and U.S. through a shared mountain range millions of years in the making.
From meeting Secretary of the Interior Doug Burgum, National Park Service staff, Junior Rangers, U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service historians, to spending time with Buddy the Eagle and leaders of the Monacan Indian Nation, the visit reflects the natural beauty, living history, and deep connections that make this place so meaningful.

Dear @HiltonHotels, longtime Hilton Honors member here who has been waiting THREE hours to check in for room. Surely @Marriott wouldn’t allow this to happen.

Gov. Moore vows to protect Marylanders in second Trump administration bit.ly/4fiDZHe
Waiting to board flight home and a young man in line just hurled a bunch of expletives at the gate agent for having to tag his bag. Dude there are much greater issues in the world.

If Kamala Harris had done EVERYTHING the same, but she was a white man, she would’ve won.
It’s that simple.
A small silver lining. And I know my governor will do everything he can to protect us from that monster.
Congratulations to my friend, Senator-Elect Angela Alsobrooks!
@AlsobrooksForMD represents the best of Maryland. She’s a champion who will fight for us in the Senate to defend our freedoms, make us safer, and make not just our state, but our entire country better.
Angela, congratulations on making history and I can’t wait for all we will continue to get done for the state we love.
If this is indeed true, PA is one big f’ed up state. And I’m so glad I no longer live there.
