When you’re spiraling, stuck, or self-sabotaging…
Talk to yourself in third person, out loud.
Instead of:
“I’m so overwhelmed. I can’t do this.”
Say:
“Cecilia, you’ve done harder things. You’re allowed to rest but not to quit. Let’s take the first step.”
