As someone with permanent bags under her eyes, no matter how happy or sad or tired or awake she is.... yeah, I felt represented by Prue's design.
People are calling Prue ug*y because she doesn’t look like the caricature of a teenage girl they’re used to seeing in film.
I personally find her character design to be a reflection of her forlorn temperament, that’s to say, it’s deeply human, as is the entirety of #Wildwood.

I have to admit, I was incredibly impressed by Sleeping Beauty (1959). It’s one of the most beautiful animated films I’ve ever seen.
Someone carefully and meticulously designed every part of this film, and that wasn’t a coincidence. It was the culmination of everything Walt and his company had learned over the years.
This was also the last animated feature that Walt Disney personally devoted himself to wholeheartedly. It can be considered his masterpiece in the fairy-tale genre. The studio didn’t return to this genre until 30 years later, after Disney’s death in 1966, with the release of The Little Mermaid in 1989.

This is why I consider BG3 more of a successor to Origins then any of the dragon age games.
It has the soul, great characters but most importantly your choices matter.
The game could be drastically different depending on what you do. As an Origins diehard fan it was a joy.
We've been talking a lot about how brilliant Dragon Age Origins was because of the story and the gameplay and the characters, but another string to its brilliance-bow was how your decisions really mattered.
There were significant and sometime catastrophic consequences to your choices and actions (or lack thereof) including individual lives and leadership, up to the decimation of entire factions.
It was beautifully intricate and meaningful and really tested you as an individual.

Travis Knight tells us why he wanted to adapt Colin Meloy’s ‘WILDWOOD’ novel into a massive stop-motion animated film.
“It felt like it was breathing the same air as all these classic fantasies and fairytales that I loved my entire life, like Tolkien, C.S. Lewis, or Frank Baum.”

daily reminder that Bioware devs that worked on Inquisition HATED that it got GoTY and so many awards, because it validated higher ups and their decisions about crunches and "bioware magic"

Probably cause its PG-13 they gave up on the family market and its a choice that will pay off
LAIKA’s ‘Wildwood’ is tracking a $15-20M domestic box office debut after a skyrocket of pre-sale tickets.
This will potentially make LAIKA’s biggest opening weekend ever.

This is not something I ever expected to see.
Larian and Bioware started their trajectories in the games industry at the same time and Bioware led the way in making RPGs big. It's almost unimaginable that we're now entering an era were the name Bioware won't show up anymore when discussing upcoming RPGs. What a loss for all of us.
Thank you for all the games. Thank you for the many hours of gameplay. Thank you for all the stories . You can be damned proud of what you achieved.
I hope you all land well.

Bioware has been a massive part of CDPR history. We befriended them when localizing and selling Baldur’s Gate games in Poland, Czech, and Slovakia. And later they were great help when lending us their engine for Witcher 1, sharing their wisdom and even giving us a spot at their booth at E3. I had a pleasure to visit them a few times in Edmonton and also host them in our Warsaw office. Very sad for the people affected, but also sad to see a legendary brand go down. Not a great day in the games industry.

RIP BioWare
A truly legendary RPGs studio with some of the greatest gaming IPs ever, They had a legendary run up to 2015 and while they’ve struggled since Anthem, its absolutely gutting we’ll never see ME5 or a new Dragon Age again 💔
