TS Isaias has formed in the gulf and is strengthening this am. It's forecast to become a hurricane by Thursday. The NHC expects continued intensification over very warm waters, with winds potentially reaching near **110 mph by Friday** before the storm approaches the northern Gulf Coast. Some weakening is expected prior to landfall due to wind shear, but we could still see a landfalling hurricane Friday night. The exact track remains uncertain, but areas from **Louisiana to the Florida Panhandle** should closely monitor updates. Dangerous winds, storm surge, heavy rainfall, and flash flooding could become significant threats late this week.
