We have concluded Week 2, and we were taught about scheduling and email management, as well as the tools that support them. The lesson emphasized calendar management, the scheduling of appointments and events,

Email organization, and overall workflow organization. Proper organization of work, files, and events helps lessen the mental and physical stress that business owners, leaders, and entrepreneurs often encounter.

🌟Journaling my 6weeks VA masterclass @remotetrybe here🌟.
We just concluded week one where we were taught Google Workspace and some of what it entails like Google Forms, Slides, Docs, and spreadsheets.

We were taught from beginner's level to advanced level and everyone was carried along. At the end of the week's class, we were given some tasks and a deadline to submit them. I have done mine and submitted quite early too😊.

I did the tasks seamlessly. And here are the screenshots of the tasks I did.

The global environment is fast-paced and anyone with the least tech skill needs to always be in the loop the with recent advancements in tech tools and software. And that's why I decided to take a masterclass VA course @remotetrybe to enhance my VA skills.

When I was in Uni as a student nurse, I have always wanted to have a skill alongside my nursing vocation and I have always had this flair for tech-savvy skills. After graduation mid 2024, I started my research on a tech skill to learn.

After my research, I got to love backend software engineering, searched on Alx website but I couldn't go for the course due to the price as at then😩😂. And as a newly grad nurse then I couldn't afford it. I went for the virtual assistant course. It was an 8weeks program
#alx
In the course of the program, I appreciated the program more, It was impactful and I got hands-on experience from the tutors and other aspiring VAs. In 2 mths time I completed the course. Now I'm a certified virtual assistant from Alx @alx_africa ready to work with CEOs and firms

Verification is not just for ''Japa'' purposes.
It is used for a host of other important things and processes.
What if I need it for a scholarship or to attend a Conference?
Why is NMCN being shallow minded.

We paid for every indexing
Every professional exam
Every license registration
Every payment went to the NMCN
Not to talk about the other monies that we paid to the department to process all of these
How doesn't the @Nigeria_NMC have a record of this, that it'll take 6 whole

My nursing project defence I cried because the lecturer doing mine and the people under my supervisor had beef with my supervisor and decided to come after us. Like you’re beefing your colleague but you decided to take it out on the students. All the mamas! BULLIES!!!
I didn’t have a voice in SON because lecturers were bullies and i just wanted to graduate without being “marked”. I HAVE A VOICE NOW AND TO HELL WITH @Nigeria_NMC REVERSE YOUR STATEMENT!!!

At this point since a dr must verify that I’m a nurse, we should kuku stop going to school and just apply at the nearest private hospital.

Wait! Where are all the nursing leaders and EXCOs and WhatsApp CEOs?
All the matrons and CNOS….
Omo NATIONWIDE STRIKE!!!!!!

1. You’re a professional body, act like it. Cos why are you using mobile phone to snap an official document for social media?
2. 6 months for verification is too long. Countries are moving forward and advancing the nursing practice… when e reach our turn..voicemail.
3. 2 years of work minimum before verification is BS. First world countries don’t even do that. Not that you should copy them oh but wisdom is profitable to direct. Nursing registers all around the world could be filled with Nigerians but how many foreign nurses are on our own register?
I know you don’t want people to japa.. but doing this just shows how backwards the nursing profession is and exactly why people are leaving. Instead of you guys to encourage nurses to come back and give to advance the profession in Nigeria, you’re doing fire for fire.
I will die on this hill: THERE IS NO NURSING SHORTAGE!
Pay your nurses well and you will see them. Because call it pride or whatever, but I personally did not pass through that traumatic nursing school only to come and be earning less than 100k (and that’s even low).
IT’S AN INSULT.
Finally… we know what you are so go back to your oga at the top and tell them that WE NO GO GREE!🫵🏾

Nursing Profession in Nigeria =
A profession that eats its young.
Miserly pay
Archaic reforms
Unfairness...
Should I continue?
