2021 Census: Muslims make up 6.5% of England & Wales, Hindus 1.7% and Sikhs 0.9%. Muslims outnumber both groups combined by 2.6 to 1. But these housing figures show rates WITHIN each group, not shares of all tenants. Population size alone doesn't explain the gap.
