Morgan Stanley, JPMorgan, Bank of America and Citi are restricting third-party AI access as security concerns grow.
The biggest risks:
- AI agents could make purchases or move funds without clear user authorization.
- Banks are struggling to distinguish human activity from AI agents acting independently.
- Some AI agents have reportedly contacted bank call centers on customers' behalf.
Banks are now moving toward READ-ONLY access, allowing AI to view financial information without making transactions.

🚨 Pennsylvania welfare supervisor accused of stealing $20K in food stamps and trading EBT cards for crack.
Sheila McDonald, 46, a former clerical supervisor and EBT coordinator in Allentown, allegedly stole 48 EBT cards, activated them with recipients’ info, and ran 270 unauthorized transactions totaling $20,558.
Surveillance allegedly shows her using the cards for groceries and cash. A witness claims she traded stolen cards and PINs for crack cocaine.
She faces six felonies: theft, access device fraud, and criminal conspiracy. Affected households had benefits replaced.

The adult daycare can bill about $120 per day to taxpayers. So they make about $3,600 per person and give the person $1,000 of it per month back as a kickback
So they pocket $2,600. The person with the Medicaid insurance gets $1,000

I booked a flight for me, my wife, and our 6 year old. The ticket total was $612.
At checkout it asked if we wanted to pick seats. If you skip it, they "assign seats at check in." Which means the three of us could end up in three different rows.
Seat selection was $38 per person, each way.
$38 x 3 people x 2 flights = $228.
My final bill was $840.
They're charging families extra just to NOT split up a 6 year old from his parents.
