Long live the wolf, celebrate the wolf awareness week. Gray wolves arrived to the area which is 48 states now around 500,000 years ago. Mexican wolves are direct descendants of this last wave of colonization. These wolves shared the land with dire wolves. The latter went extinct when Mega fauna died out when ice age ended. Homo Sapiens are 300,000 years old. I say wolves have the right to be here. We are the trespassers.
