Menschen sparen, sie sorgen vor, da sie dem Fiatsystem nicht mehr vertrauen, tun das viele mittlerweile auch in Bitcoin. Und genau da will die @spdde jetzt ran. Haltefrist weg, Steuern drauf.
Was soll das?
Hier sorgen verantwortungsvolle Bürger privat mit schon einmal versteuerten Geld - IHREM Geld - vor. So, wie sie das von der Politik gesagt bekommen. Und nun wollen ihnen die „Sozial“demokraten an dieses Ersparte . Warum sollte man dann noch langfristig sparen? Vorsorgen? Am besten alles raushauen und dann dem Staat auf der Tasche liegen … ist es das, was die SPD will?
Das Gegenteil wäre richtig. Nicht nur Bitcoin und die Haltfristregel in Ruhe lassen, sondern alle privaten Vorsorgemöglichkeiten steuerfrei stellen. Die Rente reicht nicht mehr, früher oder später fliegt uns das System komplett um die Ohren. Geben wir den Menschen die Chance, eigenverantwortlich zu handeln und für sich und die ihren zu sorgen. Und gehen wir - zur Abwechslung - einmal MIT der Zeit.

So the SEC goes after our industry, makes us all criminals, brutally sues everyone from the largest firms to the smallest projects, costs the industry hundreds of millions of dollars in legal fees, erases hundreds of billions in market caps, then cries fowl when the industry strikes back?
This is the evil of unelected, career federal employees. They take no accountability for the profound harm they inflict upon others and then play the victim when they get stung from the fallout. When someone asks you to do something wrong, you resign. You don't blindly follow orders. You're not getting jobs now because you lack moral character.
We will never forget or forgive as an industry because we know what would have happened if the other side won. They would have danced on the bankrupt graves of all of our projects and used it to gain promotions and higher office.

This guy is the chief scientist??? I guess he doesn't understand how nakamoto consensus works or Ouroboros, for that matter. Cardano's security model was inspired by Bitcoin's design. We don't have BFT style rounds.
You don't need slashing, and it enjoys 50 percent byzantine resistance. You have a different notion of finality than classical BFT style protocols. It's extraordinary that after 7 years, the scientists behind Ethereum still haven't read any of our papers or studied the Cardano network.
