Depends on the AI. The idea years back was AI to aid the worker in more efficiency saving the company money which can lead to a short workweek. The way people are looking at it is the negative way. why things are not going as it should.

The NY Times has not been paying attention. Here they focus on unemployment, but that is the tip of the problem. As far back as 1990, approximately one third of college graduates have been persistently underemployed, that is working in jobs that do not require a degree.

Being in the office is a double-edged sword.
Data: when our colleagues sit nearby, we get more feedback. That boosts learning and retention among junior people—but reduces productivity for senior people.
We need time together and time apart. Hybrid is the best of both worlds.

ChatGPT4 writing tip: If you tell it to be your editor, it will give you back a line-edited version of your draft. If you ask it for feedback or suggestions, it will give you a numbered list of ideas. Both are very good. The line editing is exceptional.
