The people who are pro-AI in education but are not themselves AI researchers imagine that a technology designed to invite human passivity and, worse, subjection can be used entirely differently w/proper education.
These same people ignore that students are fine w/passive use.
If you ask an academic what they are an expert in and they say "teaching" then they probably don't belong within fifty feet of a university
