Why have people forgotten that "sex sells" in marketing. That's never going to change as much as people tried to change that the last 15 years.

Ubisoft is expanding its Assassin’s Creed remake plans beyond the recently announced Black Flag Resynced
According to leaker at least one additional title from the series is already in active development as a full remake, with more potentially following based on how well the first one sells.
Black Flag Resynced, the modernized version of Assassin’s Creed IV, is scheduled to launch on July 9, 2026 focused on single-player storytelling, with the original DLC and multiplayer modes left out at launch.
If they sell good with Black Flag could open the door to remakes of other fan-favorite games from the franchise’s early days, personally would like the remake of Assassins Creed 2 by far the best story in the series
