If you can just type and write a book, why aren’t we all established authors? The ease of making games doesn’t suddenly make us good at making them.

If you want a solid video course on 3D math for video games, that mixes both theory and practice, here it is: wojtsterna.com/math-for-3d-p…
Part I of the course, which is 14 hours long, is available for FREE. I recently split it into sections so that it's easier to get through. No section is longer than ~30 minutes.
The whole course is a hefty 50 hour ride so definitely a challenge, but I think it's worth it if you are serious about understanding 3D math.

What's exhausting is Polygon. For dragging a developer's personal political statements into a review as if that matters or is germane to the final product. Manufactured drama.
Polygon you're not virtuous or woke. You're old and busted and it's 2026 and nobody cares about any of this except your echo chamber followers who can't think independently.
The elephant in the room and the uncomfortable truth is that Polygon are, and have always been, utter hacks.
Anyway, the Steam reviews are 97% so there's reality. Polygon is old news. Stop reading them.

When you buy a game, you should own it. 🎮
Instead, companies like Denuvo use invasive DRM that hurts paying customers and tries to silence the community.
It’s time to reform the DMCA and take ownership back.

For scale: Forward Email is a two-person team, and 1.6M+ domains use it. Proton has ~500 people. Tuta has 40+.
Our Windows installer is 7 MB. Proton's is 139 MB. Tuta's is 134 MB.
IMAP, POP3, SMTP, CalDAV and CardDAV, so you can use any client and leave anytime.
Proton: "All Proton apps are open source." Tuta: "All Tuta clients are open source." Apps, not servers.
Proton Mail offers IMAP and SMTP only through its Bridge app, on paid plans. Tuta has no IMAP.
Our whole stack, front end and back end, is on GitHub:

Shipping a Windows app? @sudara's guide to Azure Artifact Signing is excellent, and we followed it. Just know that when validation fails, you get no error, no reason and a 404. Have a plan B before release day.

Further context, Discord is proceeding with global age verification DESPITE not being mandated to do so, DESPITE already experiencing tons of bugs, and DESPITE already having a massive ID data leak where they claim 70,000 IDs were leaked, while the hackers say it was 2 million.
Discord’s second attempt at age verification is already having problems.
Discord now estimates your age from things like account age, servers, communities and connected games and says it doesn’t use your messages or calls, and around 90% of users won’t need to verify manually.
Some users are being put in the wrong age group, while others see different results on different devices.
Discord was also cooked alive for making jokes about the bugs during the rollout.
The company says it is going ahead with the system because more places, including Brazil and Texas, are introducing laws that require online services to check users’ ages.

Look-at rotation:
While using the Rotate tool, hold Shift and Control (Command on Mac) to rotate the GameObject (forward, blue axis) towards a point on the surface of any Collider. #UnityTips
There is a coordinated operation to influence American lawmakers to pass Age Verification laws by five foreign NGOs.
It is not a conspiracy; it is a reality.
Britain passed "child safety" digital ID laws. They're now used to surveil and jail political dissidents and the same NGO that helped write the law is lobbying to ban VPNs, the one tool that could undo the damage. That would put the UK alongside Russia, China, and North Korea as VPN-banning states.
Now the same NGOs: 5Rights, CCDH, ISD, Reset Tech, are running the identical playbook in 21 US states and Congress, using American proxies, sharing board members across entities, and in at least one case (5Rights/AB 2273) failing to disclose foreign lobbying until over a year after the bill became law.
"Protect the children" is the pitch. Verified ID for every adult who wants to speak online, backed by a small, interlocking network of foreign-funded groups, is the actual product. Worth reading who's funding this before your state votes on it.

LATEST🚨: Engineers just proposed a 36 mile long spacecraft called 'Chrysalis' that could carry 2400 people to Alpha Centauri, just 4 light-years away from us, on one way trip. The journey will take 400 years!
The passengers who board it will never see Earth again. Neither will their children. Or their grandchildren.
