Would’ve been nice to start off the new book with a win but otherwise, I like it!! I wish I was artsy and could draw logos. #TheJoyOfKeepingScore @NumbersGameLLC #BaseballIsLife #Ready2Reign @AstrosRadioMLB

A napkin holder in the upper deck appears to have burst open and the napkins shot out like a pack of bats escaping from a cave.
They are now swirling about in the Kansas City air.
I cannot emphasize this enough: there are napkins absolutely everywhere.
Love getting ready for a season by scoring classic games from seasons past. Today's "rewatchable" was Game 163 vs. the Cubs in 2018. The 3-1 win clinched the division for the @Brewers following a 19-7 September run.

Interestingly, none of these are home runs or strikeouts.
Great plays are made when balls are hit in play. It's when baseball's athletes are at their best.

#tbt to the 96’ ALDS when Albert Belle went grand salami to take the lead. What a monster he was.
Scored the great, intense game between the Orioles and Jays last night. September baseball between two teams gunning for the postseason is still 🔥.
Joey Votto just became one of our favorite players.
Love the love he has for the game of baseball.
There's so much to love about the game baseball, from the different ballparks and climates, to blue skies and green grass and cool caps, and most of all, @JoeyVotto RETURNING to the TV booth TONIGHT‼️

When you can hit the button to skip ahead 10 seconds three times in the MLB TV app and still not miss a pitch, it's time for a pitch clock. I respect guys that get the ball and get to work so much more than guys that need 10 deep breaths between pitches.
My scoresheet was nicely filled by the game between the @Mariners and @CleGuardians last night. Thankful it didn't go into the 12th!
ALT Baseball scoresheet for the Cleveland Guardians vs the Seattle Mariners on August 26. The Mariners won in 11 innings by a score of 3-2.

ALT The box score from the game between the Seattle Mariners and Cleveland Guardians shows the winning pitcher, losing pitcher, and game totals.
Given the eventual switch to robs-umpires for balls and strikes should eliminate the need to frame pitches, at that point I agree that 1KD will go away when there are runners on base.
No one told us that @CMBaseball41 was a must-follow around here.
