Live emergency update on RARE #TORNADO THREAT in Arizona today. Also life-threatening flash flooding likely especially across the Utah Grand Staircase into southwestern Colorado. Yesterday the afternoon mode of supercells was fueled by topography as supercells intensified on the Mogollon Rim during the afternoon, but the tornado threat shifted to the lower desert by night as temperature/ dew point spreads decreased and the low-level jet increased. An EF2+ tornado happened west of Show Low last night. Today, the tornado threat will focus across southeastern Arizona

This is very disappointing. My family has been threatened, my wife has been subjected to racist comments, and I’ve been attacked over my appearance. Now we’re being called fascists in front of a large crowd. Disagree with my positions all you want. That’s part of running for public office. But there’s a difference between debating policy and encouraging this kind of hostility. In 13 days, this election will be over, and we’ll all still be neighbors. We can disagree about the future of Costa Mesa without treating each other like enemies. Let’s focus on the issues facing our city instead of rhetoric designed to divide us.
