Did you know that Elijah Mohammed sanction Malcolm X meeting with the KKK?. Elijah Mohammed, the nation of Islam and Malcolm X to meet several of times with leaders of the KKK in Atlanta, Georgia. Just like Marcus Garvey did. but you would never see Tariq attack the nation of Islam for a meeting with the KKK.

Congo is again not a headline and the news there is being overshadowed by other stories. More than 200 ppl, including approx 70 children have died after a coltan mine collapsed. This is horrific news. Devastating for these families. These lives mattered.
A catastrophic landslide at the Rubaya coltan mine in eastern Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) has killed more than 200 people, including approximately 70 children, as reported by the country’s mining ministry on 4–5 March 2026. The disaster, triggered by days of torrential rainfall, struck the rebel-controlled site located about 70 kilometres west of Goma in North Kivu province.

The "educated Negroes" have the attitude of contempt toward their own people because in their own as well as in their mixed schools Negroes are taught to admire the Hebrew, the Greek, the Latin and the Teuton and to despise the African.

I already answered. I believe Pan Africanism is foundational to work.
We have been documenting the racial wealth gap since Du Bois published the Philadelphia Negro in 1899.
ADOS is still trying to work withing the liberal institutions that Du Bois rejected by the 1920s. Check out "The World and Africa."
So, imo, nothing else moves without a Pan Africanism. Africa is our base. ADOS attacks the thing that we insist is essential.
When Viola Fletcher died🕯 that should have been a cue that your approach is not workable. If the US government allowed a *survivor* of a ethnocidal attack to die without compensation, what makes you think they will do anything different for a 30 year-old who is 5 generations removed from slavery? Reparations can only happen by force—by putting intense pressure on our enemy, USA🇺🇸. Pan Africanism is that force. And thats why the govt has violently opposed it

Im tagging you for your genuine opinion because pan africans of influence and knowledge dont have public discourse with two different views like this.. you are a respected professor, you having discourse like this is your door way to unity on this continent weather you know it or not.
But I have a question that you never answered for me..you answer this and I will be out your hair.
Im sure you have been on the ADOSAF website, you know by know that regardless of our views of pan africanism, the thing that unites us in our movement is Reparations for ADOS from the federal government to close the wealth gap and a black agenda that ALL black people benefit from (immigrant or not)
What specifically about it doesnt fit in the realm of what you believe pan africanism to be?

The British government paid reparations to white slave owners in 1835 for the loss of their black property following the abolition of slavery. The reparation was 20 billion, funded by a loan that was not fully paid off until 2015. No money was paid to the enslaved black people

Also the Inter-American Slave Trade. Dubois has a decent book detailing slaves that came from the Caribbean into the US.

Pan-Africanism is about the unity of African people. It’s not a cult of personality, although certain individuals have tried to use it that way. This is something that I’ve criticized Umar Johnson for over the years, but it’s not just him alone.
