Phase Two of our rescue coral rescue mission - pulling as many of our corals out of our nurseries as possible. Huge thanks to Key Largo Fisheries who loaned us one of their temperature-controlled trucks! Watch this space as the mission unfolds!

Pygmy Seahorses (Hippocampus bargibanti) are smaller than most people think (just 1.5cm). The first one I saw (this photo) was in Indonesia, and I only saw it because a local dive guide showed it to me. I've looked for them in many places but never found one myself. #ichthyology

The ocean is a climate solution. Our shared seas absorb about 25% of human-driven carbon emissions, provide at least half the oxygen we breathe, support abundant, biodiverse fish populations and generate renewable energy that can end our reliance on fossil fuels.

"He totally changed our perception of these animals that we were slaughtering... It's not data that drives change in people, it's emotion." Nature filmmaker Tom Mustill talks about his mentor, biologist Roger Payne, who first discovered whale song in 1967 and has died aged 88.
