It's pretty bad that my daughter ordered with @SkipCanada, only to have to wait for 2.5 hrs and the only thing they done was give her a $5 credit for her next purchase. Went through 6 drivers because they kept declining to accept the order. Ridiculous isn't the right word.
This!!!! #SaveStargate
It's not that we don't trust you with the show @AmazonMGMStudio @PrimeVideo but unless Martin Gero and his team, who we do trust, are in charge,we're just not happy that you're on the same page as the fans to deliver the Stargate series we deserve #SaveStargate

Cancelling what was going to be a perfect show for both new and old fans for,who knows what reasons,is beyond painful. The anger and betrayal fans feel at the moment will not go away any time soon,so be prepared for a long fight @AmazonMGMStudio @PrimeVideo #SaveStargate

Boom! It's happened! The #SaveStargate petition has hit 100K signatures!
@robertpatrickT2 has also become one of Save Stargate’s most active celebrity backers since the cast mobilized around last week’s banner flyover.
"A lot of folks have asked why I jumped into the #SaveStargate campaign. Truth is, this was never about how many episodes I appeared in. It was about supporting friends, standing behind a cast and crew I respect and recognizing one of the most passionate fan communities out there… When people care that deeply about something and work that hard to keep it alive, I'm happy to lend my voice. Some things are worth getting loud about. LFG #SaveStargate," he recently posted.

All we want is what @AmazonMGMStudio @PrimeVideo had already green-lit: a new Stargate series from the original creative team, including @martingero @BaronDestructo @bradtravelers etc. Give the fans what they want! #SaveStargate

“Meanwhile, Michael Shanks has been loudly disputing the studio's excuses on social media, Rachel Luttrell and Robert Patrick are helping mobilize the alumni, and Christopher Judge himself took to X during the Culver City flyover to declare: "#SaveStargate Indeed!" When the actors break ranks to stand shoulder-to-shoulder with the fans, it sends a clear signal to the industry: this universe is too vibrant, too loved, and too valuable to be left on a shelf.” Well said #SaveStargate

Why is STARGATE so important to me ? Well… 👇
Stargate is a show that I grew up with, it was a friend in need, it was a journey we as fans all went on together. I’m in my 30s now and Stargate is one of 3 shows I actively rewatch.
Stargate was optimistic about the future, it had good lessons, it was comedic, it was serious, it was FUN. It wasn’t doom and gloom like a lot of scifi these days. It was positive and hopful generally.
Stargate was was escapism, it had moments where you would have tears of laughter, moments you cried…. A lot.
Stargate was and IS a broad group of people. It would draw in those from both sides of the political isle (something in today’s environment that is quite an achievement for a show) and managed to toe the line between gun hoe action or simple a story in a room. An entire episode. Just in a room. Picking apart a character. It really and truly was. Something for everyone. The showrunners loved that show! We trusted them!
The journey we all went on with Stargate was there in the hard times. I’m sure we’ve all had those moments. It was that little flicker of joy in what might’ve been a pit of despair.
Stargate isn’t the only show to do this, but Stargate did it well. For a LONG LONG time.
The franchises fans gave a lot of goodwill to this project. Something unheard of in today’s climate. The creators were on board. The ex actors seemingly looked exited about it too.
The way this got canceled was confusing. It just doesn’t make sense. Other than miscalculation or this is part of a modern strategy for marketing to get hype built up and get people talking. I don’t know lol.
So yeah, Stargate means a lot to us fans who are super fans of it, but we also aren’t the only ones. Many people are discovering Stargate and enjoying it just as we did. To see that be curbed and stopped. That’s sad.
This franchise doesn’t deserve to end. It deserves the life we literally just had.
I hope we can get this one over the line. I truly do.
Dial the gate. Just one last time @AmazonMGMStudio let them try for a season. If it doesn’t work out. It doesn’t. But let them try.

If the amount of fan outrage on X is any indication I think AmazonTarded Studios miscalculated just how many "fans" were out there and that level of appeal.

What has kept #StargateSG1 a property that has lasted in fervent popularity for nearly 20 years AFTER it went off the air?
The fans.
What made it a property worth investing (likely) millions of dollars in to create a new series?
The fans.
Who could you rely on, not only to bring themselves, but at this point THEIR CHILDREN and, heck even their GRANDCHILDREN into the fanbase with a faithful continuation?
The fans.
Who will never forgive you, @AmazonMGMStudio , and never be your customers for anything related to #Stargate ever again?
The fans. All of them.
