Thank you @OliverDowden @DCMS for your confirmation of the lower risks of self-contained accommodation. We are ready just as soon as you give the green light.

Oliver Dowden Culture Sec has confirmed Govt is keen to get tourism open and that self-contained accommodation is lower risk that other areas so hopes that this will be at the front of the queue.
Our safety guidance for caravan parks is ready. Just need the date...
and consider the mental health benefits as well, as lockdown will have been undoubtably tough on a lot of people. Let them have a break to their holiday homes!
UK holiday parks are ‘low risk option’ says travel expert..very nature of holiday parks..make them a safe and low risk option for those wanting to get away.

We appreciate this team! They keep the best interest of our holiday home parks and customers at the heart of what they do!
Absolutely! @BorisJohnson @davidmorrisml
Caravan parks are brilliantly designed not just for social distance but so holidaymakers can access British countryside/exercise/fresh air. Perfect antidote to lockdown, if only allowed to open.

@OliverDowden
Potentially good news!
.@BorisJohnson re hospitality: “really trying to go as fast as we can...really difficult to bring forward hospitality measures in a way that [adheres to] social distancing...much more optimistic than [he] was that we may be able to do things faster"

What about second homes, cottages and static caravans that are self contained with no public areas @MattHancock ?
We would love to be able to welcome our holiday home owners back to our park where they are able to use their self contained second homes please! Less danger of infection here then in a shop, surely! @BorisJohnson @davidmorrisml
Beaches open, shops opening but holiday park accommodation with no shared facilities to remain closed. What’s the justification @BorisJohnson @MattHancock @michaelgove @OliverDowden @AlokSharma_RDG @RobertJenrick?

We’ve written to @BorisJohnson asking him for urgency in the @CMO_England consideration of outdoor holidays, and since #OneSizeFitsAll does not apply to consider if holiday park accommodation without shared facilities may reopen in Step Two
