📖 This year for National Truth and Reconciliation Day, we read I Am Not a Number by Kay Dupuis and Kathy Kacer as a family. It was a powerful reminder of the courage it took for Indigenous children to survive the residential school system and the lasting impact it had on their communities.
I’ve been really impressed with the learning materials my kids have brought home from public libraries throughout the year. While we’ve made progress, there’s still a long road ahead. I’m hopeful for the change that’s happening. #TruthAndReconciliation #KeepLearning #HopeForChange 🧡

I visited a number of suites in this building, every tenant I spoke to suffering textbook ‘sick building syndrome’: headaches, allergies, mould, respiratory issues since and while living in this building. Lack of ventilation per building maintenance warrants timely enforcement!

Some serious action at #5455Balsam today. Watch @GlobalBC at 6pm tonight.
STILL NO HEAT!!!
Thanks for the outpouring of support this weekend.
The residents at #5455Balsam are still without heat.
To many of us, this may seem irrelevant. Isn’t is summer? Yes, but the nights have been cool, windows are single pane, and many residents are over 75.
@Taleeb thanks for your concern. Too bad Mansoor Lalji did not respond to your text while he’s away. Appreciate your outreach to Lalji family members though no response.
We have a crisis here. This is unconscionable in the @CityofVancouver.
I will keep going until it is fixed.
