You can’t rely on content alone to grow on X,
And you can’t rely on replies alone either.
A lot of creators and brands don’t realise that both play very different roles in growing an account.
Here’s how:
Replies help you:
- Get noticed by the right people.
- Join conversations in your niche.
- Build relationships with other accounts.
- Drive profile visits.
- Put your name in front of new audiences.
Content helps you:
- Show people what you’re about.
- Give them a reason to follow you.
- Build trust and credibility.
- Keep your existing audience interested.
- Drive engagement on your posts.
- Turn profile visits into followers and potential customers.
It’s more like, someone might discover you through a reply, but when they visit your profile, your content is what helps them decide whether to follow.
You need a solid strategy for both if you want to grow on X.

This industry has come a long way, but security is still one of its biggest challenges lol.
Mfers always talking a lot about innovation, adoption and building the future bla bla bla.
But none of that means much if we can’t trust the platforms we’re using.
At this point, I think the best alpha is knowing how to keep your money safe.
If you could work for your favorite crypto company,
which one would it be and what position would you take?

Replies are still one of the best growth strategies on X.
Working as a reply guy for a client, and over time, we’ve seen how much consistent, strategic replies can do for an account.
Here’s what we’ve achieved:
- Increased overall impressions
- Positioned the account in relevant conversations
- Identified opportunities through strategic replies
- Increased engagement on posts
- Built stronger connections with our target audience
- Improved visibility among the right people
Replies are more than just commenting under big accounts.
It’s about showing up in the right conversations, adding value, and getting your brand in front of the right audience.
If you’re serious about growing on X but don’t have the time to do it yourself, you can always hire a reply guy.
I’m 21:
> sleep 7hrs a day
> graduated Uni recently, masters in Europe next.
> really good at what I do (social media management)
> love to support my frens
> try to live healthy
> make good 4 figs every month
what’s the best piece of advice you would give me?
CT is a cult, and we need to talk about it.
I work with accounts in both Web2 and Web3, and here’s my honest take on growing in both spaces.
- There’s so much classism and cabalism in CT.
- Opportunities are often circulated among friends, with the same people getting picked over and over again.
- Big accounts can scroll past genuinely insightful posts without dropping a single comment, simply because the person behind the post isn’t big enough.
- Even small accounts make the mistake of only supporting bigger accounts while ignoring people at their own level.
- People focus so much on who posted something that they overlook the quality of the content itself.
My client had only just started out in Web2, yet within three months of working together, we were already securing partnership deals,
but can you achieve the same in CT without a big following or knowing the “big guys”?
We need to do better at supporting people who are putting in the work, regardless of their follower count.
You can’t keep preaching about community while only showing up for people who are already Up
CT needs to do better.
Woke up hungry for growth and more knowledge
So I’m making a move
Going hard this week on learning more about my skill, Social Media Management.
I’ll be exploring new strategies, studying what makes brands grow, and finding ways to bring more value to the brands I work with
There’s always room to get better, and I want to keep pushing myself to the next level
If you know any banger courses, useful resources, or SMMs I should be learning from, put me on.
When trying to land a client, don’t get so caught up in impressing them that you start promising things you can’t guarantee.
Instead,
- Understand what they need
- Develop a strategy
- Show them how you intend to help them achieve their goals
- Set realistic expectations from the start, so both of you understand what you’re working towards
You don’t have to promise miracles to prove your worth.
Clients should be able to see the value in your thinking and approach, not just the results you promise them.
I’ve been working with brands in the AI niche for a couple of months,
and we’ve seen significant growth in engagement, starting from 0.
Here are a few things I’ve learned about growing in this space.
If you’re looking to build an audience in AI, here’s a playbook to follow.
- Stay updated on new models, tools, and developments. There’s always something new happening.
- Don’t just announce new releases. Test them, compare models, and share what you find.
- Share opinions on AI developments. Don’t be afraid to challenge popular takes if you have a good reason to.
- Find your angle. You can’t cover everything in AI, so focus on what genuinely interests you.
- Pay attention to the questions people ask. Turn them into useful content.
- Share practical workflows, experiments, and things you’ve built with AI.
- Look beyond the hype. Explain what makes a new model different, what it’s good at, and where it falls short.
- Connect with other AI creators and builders. Join conversations, share ideas, and build genuine relationships.
There’s a lot happening in AI, but simply posting about every new development isn’t enough.
Find your angle, bring something useful to the conversation, and give people a reason to follow you.
I need a project account to cook with.
Give me room to work on the content, handle replies, figure out what resonates with the audience,
build conversations around the project, grow the community and find opportunities for growth.
I’ve been doing this with creators and builders, helping them grow their presence on X, and I’m looking to work with more projects.
If you’re building something and need an SMM who can think strategically and execute, my DMs are open.
Who’s letting me cook?
