NATO will not fight Russia the way Ukraine has been forced to fight.
Former NATO Military Committee Chairman Admiral Rob Bauer says that if Russia attacks a NATO member, the Alliance will deploy its air force and navy and conduct long-range precision strikes deep inside Russian territory.
NATO possesses strategic bombers, F-35s, F-22s, F-15s and F-16s, capabilities Ukraine was denied for years.
Bauer also stressed that Article 5 is ironclad. NATO's strategy is to block Russian forces, blunt their advance and, if necessary, break their military-industrial and logistical capacity.
Russia must understand one thing: attacking NATO means confronting the combined military power of the Alliance.

🇺🇸 Trump's Mar-a-Lago residence is now protected by SURFACE-TO-AIR MISSILES.
And they're not taking any chances.
The U.S. military has positioned Avenger air defense systems on a floating barge beside the property, with additional units stationed near Air Force One's parking area at Palm Beach airport.
Each Humvee-mounted system can fire heat-seeking STINGER missiles at drones, helicopters and low-flying aircraft.
The Secret Service says threats against Trump are rising, while federal records show more than 160 airspace violations around Palm Beach since October 2025.
A presidential residence now has its own missile defenses, and Washington is considering making its restricted airspace PERMANENT.

BREAKING: The largest county in America by land area is deploying autonomous drones to fight wildfires.
@Seneca_Systems has secured a deal with San Bernardino County Fire to deploy five autonomous firefighting drones, a mobile operations base, and autonomy software designed to rapidly suppress newly detected wildfires before they spread.
The five-drone strike team can deliver over 500 gallons of finished firefighting foam, with a single pilot supervising multiple aircraft. The system is designed for rapid response, including nighttime operations and difficult-to-access terrain.
San Bernardino County Fire Chief Dan Munsey has set an ambitious goal to stop 90% of fires before they grow beyond 10 square feet, with Seneca's autonomous rapid initial attack capabilities potentially playing a key role.
The drones are expected to enter service ahead of the 2027 wildfire season.

🇺🇸🇨🇳🇹🇼 BREAKING: U.S. MILITARY PREPARING FOR A POTENTIAL CHINESE INVASION OF TAIWAN IN 2027
U.S. Army Pacific is planning for the possibility that China could attempt to seize Taiwan by military force as early as next year, according to its commander, Gen. Ronald Clark.
Washington continues to treat 2027 as a critical military readiness milestone, with preparations focused on countering a potential Chinese military operation in the Indo Pacific.
The Taiwan Strait is becoming an increasingly important focus of military planning. Both sides are preparing for a range of possible scenarios, while the risk of miscalculation remains a major concern.

The Pentagon is treating a rash of freezer malfunctions that affected refrigeration and freezer units at commissaries at several U.S. military bases in August as a suspected cyberattack, according to four officials familiar with the matter who spoke to Reuters. The Pentagon said a Cyber Command unit is “working in close coordination with interagency and law enforcement partners” in the ongoing investigation.
At least six on base commissaries were affected in late August, per Reuters’ review of base social media posts. In at least one case, the cooling units’ temperatures were raised overnight, resulting in spoiled food. Fort Huachuca, Arizona, posted that its freezer “went into defrost mode where it heated up all the food.”
One official said investigators have been in touch with French counterparts about a similar attack that hit more than 350 French supermarkets earlier this month.

NEW - a serious legal loophole has been exposed: sentences in youth courts cannot be challenged for being ‘unduly lenient’.
In this case, a 14-year-old boy who stabbed a girl in the neck in a “terrifying, premeditated & persistent” attack received a non-custodial referral order for wounding with intent.
Had the sentence been imposed at Crown Court the Attorney General could send it to the Court of Appeal for review under the ‘unduly lenient sentence’ scheme, but cases in youth courts (and magistrates courts) are exempted. There are understandably growing calls to close this loophole. I don’t expect many cases would be affected but it’s surely important that there’s a check on those sentences which are so clearly out of kilter.

In other words: On average we'll be getting poorer in the run-up to the next election.

JUST IN: 🇷🇺🇺🇦 Ukraine Sets Russia’s Marinovka Air Base Ablaze
Ukraine has struck Russia’s Marinovka Air Base with attack drones, triggering fires at the facility overnight.
The significance is huge, Marinovka is a major launch hub for Russian aircraft conducting glide bomb attacks against Ukrainian positions.
👀 Ukraine isn’t just hitting the front line anymore. It is going after the airfields enabling Russia’s bombing campaign deep behind the battlefield.
👂 Ears on the Border
Deep in Lithuania's forests, Bundeswehr soldiers are installing special sensors on trees to monitor radio signals coming from Belarus and Russia.
The operation is carried out by Germany's 45th Brigade, stationed in Lithuania. Its mission is to detect new air defense radars, troop movements, and other military activity near NATO's borders before they become a threat.
The intelligence collected is fed into NATO databases and used, among other things, to update the systems of Eurofighter jets.
So now, when Belarus switches on a new military radar, NATO might know about it before Lukashenko even gets the briefing.

🇩🇪 NEW: GERMANY EXPANDS SECURITY SCREENING AMID GROWING SABOTAGE THREAT
The German government has approved two new regulations expanding security vetting for personnel working in critical infrastructure, citing increasing hybrid threats, particularly from Russia.
Newly covered facilities include:
• Power plants capable of restarting the grid after a nationwide blackout.
• Digital energy systems exceeding 3 GW.
• Major waterworks supplying at least 22 million m³ annually.
• Large dam control centres.
• LNG terminals connected to the national gas network.
• Technical personnel responsible for transmitting emergency public warnings.
Germany's domestic intelligence service (BfV) participates in the screening process, which aims to identify potential insider threats, including individuals vulnerable to coercion or recruitment by foreign intelligence services.
The focus is shifting beyond protecting infrastructure from external attacks to preventing sabotage by individuals who already have authorised access.

⚠️ THE BATTLEFIELD EQUATION IS CHANGING.
A main battle tank represents decades of engineering, armor and firepower.
Now imagine it facing not one machine — but a coordinated swarm of small autonomous robotic systems. 🤖⚔️
This speculative footage raises a serious question about the future of warfare:
What happens when speed, autonomy and numbers begin challenging armor, size and raw firepower?
The next arms race may not be about building the biggest machine.
It may be about building the smartest network of machines.
Would autonomous swarms eventually make traditional armored warfare obsolete — or simply transform it?
👇 I want to hear your prediction.

🚨While it is significant that the Chancellor has committed to increasing UK defence spending faster - don’t get too excited.
The actual details on how the rise to 3% of GDP will be funded won’t be clear until the spending review at some point next year, which means more limbo, uncertainty and lost time.
Also, promises of jam tomorrow will do little to relieve the considerable financial pressures on the military today.
John Healey knows about that first hand - or at least his Army reservist son (with no bullets for training) does.
In fact, in the small print of the budget, in a column marked resources - so things like training - funding will be lower than previous estimates over the next two financial years.
The Ministry of Defence says this is because of a technical adjustment to pension contributions across government so it doesn’t mean a drop in day-to-day spending.
But, as mentioned above, that was already in a bad place.
Yes the chancellor says he’s going to plug a £4.7bn hole in a major defence investment plan.
Yet he’s not found extra money to enable the army to reverse a cost-saving decision to reduce training even as the new defence secretary warns the UK needs to be readying for war ⬇️

🇬🇧🇵🇱🇫🇮🇳🇱 FOUR NATO ALLIES MOVE TOWARDS JOINT DEFENCE PROCUREMENT
The UK, Poland, Finland and the Netherlands have announced that they will begin formal treaty negotiations to establish the Multilateral Defence Mechanism (MDM), aiming to make it operational in 2027.
The proposed mechanism would:
• Pool demand for weapons, ammunition and military equipment.
• Enable joint procurement and financing.
• Support shared stockpiles and defence supply chains.
• Reduce procurement costs and provide industry with more predictable, long-term demand.
The UK has already earmarked £400 million towards its contribution.
The bigger picture: Instead of European countries placing fragmented orders for similar equipment, the initiative aims to leverage collective purchasing power, strengthen industrial capacity and improve NATO interoperability.
A potentially significant step towards more coordinated European defence procurement.
