We still Do Not Want your Xenophobic Votes, and we remain unshaken about that! Thank you to the over 1.5 million voters who remain true to the principles and values that the EFF stands for. Inde lendela! 🙏🏾❤️🖤💚

A BIG shout-out to the @Our_DA and, more importantly, to the residents of Cape Town! 👏🇿🇦 Cape Town is a perfect example of what happens when voters decide they want a government that can stand on its own feet without having to negotiate with five different political parties just to get one thing done. The DA governs the city alone. No coalition partners to accommodate, no endless political bargaining, no waking up every morning wondering whether a coalition partner is about to withdraw support. And shout-out to the residents for making their choice clear. It seems Cape Town voters are not particularly interested in isithembu politics when it comes to governance. They don't want a political polygamous marriage where everyone brings their own demands, interests and conditions into the household! They want accountability. They want consistency. They want service delivery. They want to know exactly who to blame when things go wrong and who to congratulate when things go right. There is a lesson here for the rest of South Africa: coalitions can work, but stable single-party governments have an advantage when it comes to policy consistency, accountability and decision-making. Cape Town has repeatedly received international recognition for its municipal governance and management. Whether you support the DA or not, you cannot simply ignore the importance of stability and continuity in running a city. Congratulations to the DA and the residents of Cape Town. You have made your political choice, and the rest of the country is watching and learning from u. 👏👏🇿🇦 businesstech.co.za/news/prop…

I've been following South Africa's elections these past days from Lusaka. I must admit, this is the best State TV in Africa. They air opposition parties freely, give them coverage and let them even critic however they wish. South Africa is a proper democracy. Get your flowers

EFF Treasurer-General, Commissar @OmphileMaotwe, speaking in conversation with Chester Missing at the ROC, reflecting on the EFF’s LGE performance. To address low voter registration, the EFF has introduced a Private Member’s Bill in Parliament proposing the automatic registration of young people when they turn 16. This would bring us halfway towards ensuring that our youth become active participants in the democratic process.

In case you’re wondering why they hate the EFF MMC of health? It’s for following the Constitution as she must. Section 27 says everyone has the right to healthcare and no one may be refused emergency treatment, regardless of immigration status. She took an oath. They wanted her to turn immigrants away from clinics and hospitals and risk arrest. Instead of holding @Leon_Schreib accountable for the porous borders, they would rather attack and pray for the downfall of a Black woman doing her job. The people who control the borders and the economy get a free pass. They’re fixated on black on black hate while the system that keeps them poor stays untouched.
We told her that she will not be MMC forever 🤣🤣🤣🤣 Ahaaaaaa 💃🏽🕺

It is the official policy of the United States government that there are only two genders: male & female.

Wow! Mos I've been short changing myself by not paying attention to Rise Mzansi 😧. I actually really like what he's saying. Anyway, for now we just wanted our potholes and water fixed.
“Absolutely not” - Rise Mzansi leader Songezo Zibi on people who says they should have clubbed themselves up with ActionSA to form an umbrella of sorts. He says ActionSA is generally a “right wing” political party.

John Steenhuisen stepped down with no drama unlike people like Mmusi Maimane. He also supported President Ramaphosa at the White House when the Orange Guy was attacking our country and President on live television. He is a true patriot 🇿🇦. Respect that Democrat!
I think getting rid of Steenhuisen is a big factor in the results the DA has achieved I HATED them while he led the party

I went to DA event a few months back. My Missus dragged me to it. She wanted talk to Mayor Pappas about something related to service delivery. Long story short at the end of event I watch him picking up litter and sweeping a floor. That why I voted for him.
