MaiD is being abused in Canada and it's only getting worse. I didn't even realize MAiD was being run differently based on which Province you're in.
That said, I am not shocked at all that it's easier to get MAiD in British Columbia than Ontario.
Life is so cheap in British Columbia.

Firefighters safely extricated a trapped occupant after their vehicle collided with a train near the Fallowfield Train Station this afternoon.
At approximately 15:30, the Ottawa Fire Services Communications Division received a call from our partners at @OttawaPolice reporting a collision involving a train and a vehicle at the Fallowfield railway crossing.
Firefighters arrived three minutes after being dispatched and confirmed the heavily damaged vehicle had come to rest approximately 75 feet from the point of impact. The lone occupant was trapped inside.
Firefighters quickly stabilized the vehicle and used specialized extrication tools to remove sections of it and safely free the occupant.
The occupant was extricated at 15:40 and transferred to the care of our partners at @OttawaParamedic.
An investigation involving the Transportation Safety Board of Canada, Transport Canada and @OttawaPolice will now take place.
