The new law, which will come into effect on January 22, 2025, grants same-sex couples the same legal rights as heterosexual couples, including adoption and inheritance.
Thailand’s king has signed a historic marriage equality bill into law making the country the first in Southeast Asia to legalize same-sex marriage.
