Molly Moore (Fulton Library)

CHOOSE YOUR OWN SUMMER READING ADVENTURE is now open! This summer, Fulton students will get a choice on which book to pick for their summer reading. "This is more exciting than dress down days!" "This is like a free book fair!" "Do I have to pick just one?"

Students got to attend a virtual author event with @kwamealexander for #NationalPoetryMonth today! We learned the 3 Rs for poetry: Rhyme rhythm & repetition (And that @ToniBlackman can freestyle at will!) One newly self described READER started writing before the lights came up😍

Mr. Lewis's awesome students are in installing slatwall for me to display more books! They were pure professionalism. #gettingfancyupinhere

Our #ProjectLitComm book club is starting Black Birds in the Sky by @brandycolbert. We’re about to learn the erased history of the 1921 Tulsa Race Massacre. I underestimated how many more staff and students would join us this month! I’ve been handing them out like candy.

I’m excited to share these new dual language books with my students and staff @FultonHigh

New books are here! #itslikechristmas #bestdayoftheyear #highschoollibrary

Our #projectlit book club keeps growing. Both big readers and students who just want “get into” reading loved Anatomy by Dana Schwartz.

We had an amazing time with the one and only @JerryCraft learning to illustrate! Our students in digital design, African American Lit, creative writing, and @FultonComics loved every minute! Thanks for making it happen, @knoxreads @ccyal @FriendsofKCPL and @865academies ❤️ – at Knoxville, TN

The library is your place to power up. #itsthelittlethings

Students are loving our new flexible seating in the library! Come try one out! #backjackchairs
