The fun part keeps changing. Traditional because I view Ignatius of Antioch as a modernist. Not Boomer. War Baby. No DM, no chat. No DM. No chat.

If you have to spend 90% of your time explaining why you shouldn't listen to the Pope to preserve your Catholic faith, you have a crisis of authority. Authority is tied to the preservation of Truth. When that is dismantled, the formal bond is broken. The chair is empty.

How Mozart sounds on cembalo? He played 9 Mozart songs on the harpsichord. The 18th century piano. This was the sound that was heard at the time.

Wonder how many people will apologize. Because yeah, the Cardinal made clear, it wasn't proselytism he was condemning, it was the very idea of conversion. This isn't protecting the Church in a Muslim nation: this is outright religious relativism.

Replying to @BishopBarron
@BishopBarron took the high road while offering a fraternal correction. So I’ll say the part he can’t, Cardinal Vesco is an apostate.
Cardinal Vesco responded to Bishop Barron's correction by saying that Catholics, Jews, and Muslims have "better things to do" than trying to convert one another. lifesitenews.com/news/cardin…

Ivereigh is an ideological hack of the highest order. Bishop Barron is actually a real theological scholar. And Vesco’s rejoinder only digs himself a deeper hole. Monotheists have “better things to do”? Good grief what a sad attempt at deflection. The word “quisling” comes to mind. Does Vesco actually believe in the Gospel as something true? Seems questionable.

You climb on a cross, virtue signal, and seek praise while screaming "whore" at those of us supporting the lesser of two evils while everything you do boosts the greater of two evils.
Political whores always think principled stands, even against white nationalism, racism, antisemitism, Holocaust denial, and their enablers is whoring out to the other side. @TimMurtaugh will keep getting paid to advance whoever pays him and champion a tribe, no matter its excesses. In 2016, I opposed Trump. My daughter was given a guide to commit suicide by her classmates. My son was beaten up on the playground. My wife told her Bible Study she had stage 4 lung cancer and a woman told her she'd pray, but wanted to beat me up. We had 3 men show up at our home to threaten us. My family had to have security. I wasn't doing it for praise then. I'm not doing it for praise now. I'm doing it because the right, like the left, has festering racism and antisemitism rising; Mike Collins has surrounded himself with white nationalists, Holocaust deniers, antisemites, and men who abuse both dogs and women. He has defended them, sheltered them, and employed them repeatedly. And I will not vote to send them to Congress anymore than I'd vote to send communists to Congress. But Tim will support the guy with the "R" next to his name because Tim is a political whore who will attack conviction as an exercise in praise all while continuing to support awful candidates who keep making the country worse.

I think Pete Hegseth saved the U.S. military from falling into the ideological abyss. I also think he's done it with every single card in the deck stacked against him. A calcified bureaucracy and screeching "civil servants" who gnash their teeth any time "merit" is mentioned.
Replying to @infantrydort
I am curious what you think of what Hegseth is doing. It’s been awhile since I was active duty. Since leaving it’s obvious that they commenced with a social experiment and they also politicized the institution. The warriors were ousted and professionally destroyed. And Now??

And, @USCCB has no proper faculty to authoritatively identify, weigh and balance against one another claims to justice presented by competing personhoods.
With all due respect, “personhood” is not a magical trump card that overrides the basic principles of the republican form of government. One cannot conclude from the bare fact of personhood that anyone and everyone has a right to be counted in the census, to vote, or to stand for office.

The news and scale of the loss of life from the Spanish train crash today is too heartbreaking. I’m not going to repost the stories here but they are obviously widely available. For the dead, eternal rest grant unto them Lord, may the Perpetual Light shine upon them, may their souls and all the souls of all the Faithful Departed, through the mercy of God, Rest In Peace. God grant comfort to the families afflicted in this their time of grief.

I don’t know what could be more important than a human life that would stop you from taking a moment to help share this tweet with more people. Every day, innocent people fall victim to the dictatorship’s policies in Iran. They are executed, imprisoned, and subjected to inhumane torture. Every day, innocent people are sexually assaulted in prisons—people who simply wanted to live an ordinary life, just like everyone else in the world. Please be our voice. Please don’t forget us.
