Is that it? John Healey had a big job to do cleaning up Labour’s mess. This Budget fails to do it. Britain is overspent, overborrowed and overtaxed. This Budget does not come close to meeting the moment. My full response👇

Labour are releasing prisoners early and giving them tents to live in. That makes it almost impossible for them to stick to their licence conditions. Two-thirds of prisoners released homeless reoffend, so the public is at risk. I have written to the Justice Secretary.

Labour-led Hackney Council filed a 128 page application to itself, to request that a single meeting room be converted into a one-bed flat. The application was sent back for MORE work. This kind of thing happens all the time. It's completely ridiculous.

Andy Burnham has time for Gogglebox. Does he have time to govern? The Budget is where we discover what he believes, what his plan costs and who is going to pay for it. Being convivial is no substitute for being in charge. My piece in The Times👇

Higher inflation isn’t just driving up prices, it’s increasing the benefits bill. Either way, it’s working households who end up picking up the tab. Conservatives will cut the benefits bill, protect those who need help and get Britain working again.

Britain's national debt has hit £3 TRILLION. That's more than £100,000 for every household. At £250 a month, it would take you until 2060 to repay it! We need to get a grip on spending and cut the deficit before it is too late. As Chancellor, I would.

Rahmeh Aladwan is a doctor in Britain. She wants people who blaspheme against Islam to be killed. I wrote to the General Medical Council calling for her to be struck off. They have now confirmed that she is under investigation for her statement.

Ofgem have today revealed that Britain might not have enough gas in a worst case scenario this winter. Burnham says that it's better to produce oil and gas in Britain than importing it. So why is he banning new licences? Here’s the real reason we need to get Britain drilling👇

Labour’s answer to everything? More tax. Ours? Back the businesses keeping our high streets alive and make it cheaper to give young people their first jobs.

Who should run the countryside: the people you elect or agencies nobody voted for? Natural England and the Environment Agency answer to no minister. Homes are blocked and farmers are buried in red tape. Conservatives will scrap them.

Labour refuse to say if extremist groups influenced their “Islamophobia” definition. Leaked files now show the Home Office calls 5Pillars an "Islamist Extremist Group". And we know 5Pillars promoted the Call for Evidence from the Government’s “Islamophobia” Working Group. Ministers claimed this evidence was deleted, but I proved this was a lie. There is zero excuse not to publish it.

Labour still haven’t learnt that taxes have consequences. John Healey and Andy Burnham need to learn quickly. Rachel Reeves thought her jobs tax would be paid by businesses. Instead, workers paid the price through job losses and smaller pay rises. Now Labour want to tax the banks because it looks like an easy way to raise money, doesn’t it? But banks lend money to people buying homes and businesses creating jobs. Millions of people’s pensions are invested in them too. Higher taxes mean a smaller pension for you, less lending and less investment, meaning fewer jobs and ordinary people paying the price again. Labour can’t act shocked when this happens - they have been warned.

Labour want to see your family home, farm or business taxed out of existence. We Conservatives know how precious they are. That’s why we’ll scrap the family farm and business death taxes and abolish inheritance tax on family homes. That’s the dividing line in British politics.

Well done girls. Why does anyone think girls don’t deserve fair sport? They shouldn’t have to do this. Those who run sport should be protecting female rights & opportunities
Nearly half the girls’ cross-country team in Camas, Washington forfeited their race because they refused to run against a biological boy. This particular trans athlete started the year on the boys’ team and finished a pathetic 76th in a JV race, then switched to the girls’ team last month. He has since taken first place in a varsity meet and finished second in a different invitational.

Burnham is all over the place. He hasn’t got to grips with the detail and is now rushing into closer ties with the EU without understanding the implications for our farming sector. He is miss quoting the NFU from the dispatch box and is now asking me to send him CropLife UK’s economic impact assessment which was sent to DEFRA 10 months ago. I am deeply worried for our farmers under his watch.

Tonight, Labour MPs voted AGAIN for the Family Farm Tax and Family Business Tax. Eight chances to do the right thing. Eight times they chose to hammer farmers and family businesses. Labour must listen. At the Budget, axe these vindictive taxes.

Labour said all the prisoners they are freeing would be tagged. Now they refuse to say how many have been, and are covering up the data. I forced them to come to Parliament yesterday but they still wouldn’t answer. I have called on the Justice Secretary to come clean.

Ministers lied when they said the evidence behind their "Islamophobia" definition was deleted. I exposed Labour's cover-up, and they have now been forced to correct the record. It's almost certain extremist groups influenced the definition. I'll keep fighting for the truth.
