Everyone is not understanding the issue with rhe Google Drives. Yes not getting engagement is part of the issue. The main issue is the fact that people's works are re-upload without their permission on other sites which is 1. Disrespectful to Authors and 2. Aganist ao3s TOS +

Im gonna nuke my ao3 because of this situation I think im only gonna keep my two chapter fics that I do wanna keep working on (the issue with stealing and my yansim x kny fic) however everything else is being moved to squidgeworld or staying private between my friends alone

I think this incident will stay in the minds of many writers. The spitefulness, hatred and vitriol many readers have shown writers, not to mention the entitlement towards fics, is repulsive. There is a chance many writers will choose to only share fics to a private group +

I know im not a big or popular fic writers and my words hold very little to people. However I think how people are treating authors are disgusting and even if i haven't seen my fic in a Google Drive doesnt mean I dont stand with my fellow writers who are disgusted

Please please read this! As a fic writer I too am very uncomfortable with the idea my fics may or may not be published to a GDrive. Its aganist AO3 TOS as well. Im aware im not well known or a popular fic writer. However as a writer I still have a stance on this.
