That feeling when you find out someone has used your online interactive artwork of hundreds of incredible women for a primary school assembly:

Today's snapshot had to be of #VitaSackvilleWest, Happy Birthday, Vita! 'Few have so beautifully caught the beauty of the English landscape on the page. Powerful and fragile, she is an enigma we long to solve.' Find her on the pageant - link in bio!
Image shows a close up from a huge drawing of hundreds of women. In this particular close up we see a lovely delicate ink drawing of the writer and poet and gardener Vita Sackville-West. It is of her as an older woman, with a gardening tool in hand. To the right is another ink drawing, this one of Victoria Wood. What a lovely pairing.

Text on image reads: 'as part of our funding promise we have developed an educational pack to download for free. Visit our website, Click link in bio. Image in centre is of a mobile phone and on the screen is the 'schools' page of our website.

We are delighted to launch this during Women’s history month! Back in 2018 we started a participatory drawing and thanks to @ace_national #acesupported & a bunch of fantastic creatives we have created the interactive online Pageant on Paper: pageantonpaper.co.uk

Just did our first live drawing workshop in over a year! So good to get our Pageant unrolled and more women added to the numbers! Loved chatting about the complexities of 'greatness' and 'flawed women' with the Lumina Collective @BACKLITgallery
