A tribute to the bravery and legacy of Raja Porus! The Deputy Commissioner has discussed plans to install a statue of Raja Porus in Jhelum, honouring a great warrior who courageously defended his land in 326 BC. Alexender never set foot inside India. His entire campaign was in ancient pakistan. Nothing to do with India whatsoever Like all persian empires hv nothing to do with india. Gandharā has nothing to do with india. Indus has nothing to do with india (except indian occupied panjab)
Leave aside other arguments, did Alexander have India or South Asia in mind? Did Columbus want to find a route to India or South Asia? Why were the natives of America called Red Indians and not Red South Asians? Why did the British set up the East India company and not the South Asian company? Why was it British India and not British South Asia? East Indies and West Indies? Why is it called the Indian Ocean not the South Asian Ocean?

Never have I seen anything more incoherent, self-defeating, and self-implicating than this. The person accusing Iqbal and Jinnah himself stands true on all charges – racism, deceit, and myopia. To begin with, it has been argued that Muhammad Iqbal “Kashmiri” tried to “Punjabize” the Muslim League. Does that not sound fantastic? What is more fantastic is that it is factually incorrect. Until Iqbal's death, the Muslim League had a meager presence in Punjab. Leadership positions were largely held by people from the minority provinces, except for Bengal, including Jinnah. Second, your claim that the Muslim leadership of the minority provinces had no intellectual or political capacity to challenge such an overt machination is a severe indictment of a vague group – "Indian Muslims" – which is not a monolith if we go by the racial standard you so much cherish. On the contrary, the leadership of the minority provinces was pragmatic. It saw the viability of the Pakistan plan and struggled for its realization. In that plan, Punjab and Sindh were to selflessly accept Muslims from the minority provinces. This only solidifies the fact that Iqbal was a Muslim par excellence, far removed from petty provincialism or ethnic politics. Moreover, after deciphering your racism and below-par intellectual capacity above, it is not hard to understand your perversion of Jinnah's Kanpur statement. The statement, far from being a divorce, was a clarion call to the Muslims of the minority provinces. Jinnah perfectly saw the future amid the raging Second World War that Congress was in a mood to compromise and wanted all of India for itself. Jinnah's fears were based on the "glorious" Congress rule of 1937 and were immediately proved true by the Quit India Movement, where Congress wanted the British to quit without an agreed formula. He was further vindicated by the Cabinet Mission and by what is happening today to those who remained in India. The reference to Bengal is a failed effort to salvage the glaring flaws in your aforesaid thesis. Sadly, it made matters worse. You called it "tactical pragmatism rather than tribal affinity," which repudiates your race thesis. In addition, what "resources" did Jinnah seek to exploit when, in his own words, Bengal was nothing without Calcutta? If you have someone to blame, it is only Maulana Madni and Maulana Azad, who in their naivety led minority Muslims toward suicide. Pandering never worked, and it will not work. A couplet from Iqbal may help you better orient your thoughts: فرقہ بندی ہے کہیں اور کہیں ذاتیں ہیں کیا زمانے میں پنپنے کی یہی باتیں ہیں
That sinister parasite, Muhammad Iqbal Kashmiri, actively lobbied for the Punjabisation of the Muslim League. He was clear enough in his convictions that, when confronted with a crossroads of choice, he consciously chose to employ the ideologies and political instruments of Indian Muslims ('minority provinces'), such as Muslim nationalism and the Muslim League, both organic developments arising from their changing socio-political circumstances since the Battle of Buxar in 1764, and particularly after the Great Jihad of 1857, in the interests of Pakistani Muslims ('majority provinces'). He also included Bengal within this framework, though this inclusion must be understood in the context of his tactical pragmatism rather than tribal affinity. Like Jinnah, he primarily aimed to leverage the province's economic assets and reinforce Pakistan's strategic viability. "What is the use of Bengal without Calcutta? They had much better remain united and independent. I am sure they would be on friendly terms with us." — Jinnah, Delhi, 1947 Unfortunately, while all this was unfolding, the leading Leaguists of the minority provinces raised no sustained protest. Finding them already under the influence of Islamic brotherhood that served as a convenient cloak, men like Iqbal succeeded in advancing their strategy of marginalising and dismantling Indian Muslim political interests in favour of Pakistan's rise. "In order to liberate 7 crore [Pakistani] Muslims ... let the two crores of [Indian] Muslims be smashed." — Jinnah, Kanpur, 1941 "(The only task of Indian Muslims is to) Sacrifice! Sacrifice! Sacrifice! " — Jinnah, Aligarh, 1942

1765 : English law said a married woman doesn't exist legally. 1766 : A Punjabi girl told the Qazi to his face," you sell faith for the word ". That girl was Heer . Europe went from silence to voice, we went from voice to silence , the difference was not who spoke first, it was who listened. Should Heer be taught as a love story or a story of courage ?
