H.H. Lt. General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, graced the inaugural Graduation Ceremony of the DIHAD Humanitarian College Master’s Program in Sustainable Humanitarian Action. DIHAD Humanitarian College, was launched under the directives of the wise leadership to support the culture of humanitarian work globally. The master’s program is supported and sponsored by the Ahmad bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation, and INDEX Holding, and was launched in collaboration between the DIHAD Sustainable Humanitarian Organisation and UCAM University – Murcia Spain, serving as a beacon of hope in advancing humanitarian endeavors. The graduation was held on the last day of the 20th edition of the Dubai International Humanitarian Aid and Development Conference and Exhibition – DIHAD, the World’s Leading Event on Humanitarian Aid and Development. During the ceremony, the remarkable accomplishments and significant contributions of His Highness Lieutenant General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior in the United Arab Emirates, were celebrated as UCAM University – Murcia, Spain, bestowed upon him “the Extraordinary Chair at the University of UCAM – Murcia, Spain in the field of Sustainable Humanitarian Action.” This prestigious award is a catalyst promoting sustainable humanitarian practices that effectively tackle the evolving challenges faced by communities worldwide. Mr. Jose Luis Mendoza García, Director of Institutional Relations at the University of Murcia—UCAM, had the privilege of presenting this award to His Highness. The award ceremony was attended by His Excellency Amb. Dr. Abdulsalam AlMadani, Roving Ambassador for the Parliamentary Assembly of the Mediterranean for the GCC, Chairman of DIHAD Sustainable Humanitarian Organization, and Chairman of (DISAB); Eng. Khaled Al Attar, Director General of DIHAD Sustainable Humanitarian Organization, and distinguished ambassadors, heads, and representatives from various international organizations.

His Holiness also commended the upcoming Dubai International Humanitarian Aid & Development Conference & Exhibition (DIHAD) in April, where he assured that the Vatican will be present in DIHAD this year through Bambino Gesù Children’s Hospital, and the Human Fraternity Foundation in Rome and Egypt, under the mutual agreement signed between Bambino Gesù Children’s Hospital and DIHAD Sustainable Humanitarian Organisation. Moreover, His Holiness reiterated his support for the collaboration between UCAM Catholic University of Murcia in Spain and the DIHAD Humanitarian College, which offers an innovative master’s degree program in Sustainable Humanitarian Action. In addition, DIHAD Humanitarian College in collaboration with DIHAD Sustainable Humanitarian Organisation provides scholarships to the beneficiary students. His Holiness the Pop, congratulated the students of the first and second batches who will graduate next April in a graduation ceremony set to take place alongside the Dubai International Humanitarian Aid & Development Conference & Exhibition—DIHAD. كما أشاد قداسته بمعرض ومؤتمر دبي الدولي للإغاثة والتطوير – ديهاد المنعقد في أبريل، والذي سيشارك به الفاتيكان من خلال مستشفى بامبينو جيزو للأطفال ومؤسسة الأخوة الإنسانية في روما ومصر، وفقاً للاتفاقية المتبادلة الموقعة بين مستشفى بامبينو جيزو للأطفال ومنظمة ديهاد الإنسانية المستدامة. وبارك قداسته التعاون القائم بين جامعة UCAM الكاثوليكية في مورثيا بإسبانيا وكلية ديهاد الإنسانية، والتي تقدم برنامج ماجستير هو الأول من نوعه في العالم في مجال الأعمال الإنسانية المستدامة. حيث توفر كلية ديهاد الإنسانية بالتعاون مع منظمة ديهاد الإنسانية منحاً دراسية للطلاب المستفيدين، وهنّأ قداسته الطلاب والطالبات من الدفعتين الأولى والثانية، الذين سيتم تخريجهم خلال حفل تخريج يُقام على هامش أعمال معرض ومؤتمر ديهاد في أبريل. ويُذكر أن كلية ديهاد الإنسانية قامت بتوسيع نطاق برامجها لتشمل درجات البكالوريوس والماجستير والدكتوراه، مما يعزز مكانتها كمؤسسة رائدة في مجال التعليم الإنساني

During a meeting with H.E. Amb. Dr. Abdulsalam AlMadani, PAM Roving Ambassador for the GCC Region and Chairman of DIHAD Sustainable Humanitarian Organisation, His Holiness Pope Francis, Head of the Catholic Church, commended the DIHAD Sustainable Humanitarian Organisation for its philanthropic and humanitarian role in healthcare, education, and support to patients and healthcare professionals worldwide. His remarks underscored the organization's contributions, particularly in aiding refugees and supporting small to medium-sized youth projects, fostering collaboration among humanitarian organizations through the Dubai International Humanitarian Aid & Development Conference & Exhibition – DIHAD and the associated annual workshops, all held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai.
