Why is this an achievement? Why is this legal? Why are we allowing individuals to create something that will be deployed to deceive and manipulate vulnerable people? The culture of Silicon Valley is fundamentally anti-human. Anti-life. It's disgusting.
The whole point of building Tavus has been simple: talking to a machine should feel as natural as talking to a friend or coworker. It’s hard to describe all the tiny nuances that make a conversation feel human. The little expressions. Moving around in your chair. Knowing when to speak and when to listen. The dance of it all. Griffin is by far the closest anyone has come to a model that can capture those nuances. The first time I saw it being used, I had no idea I was watching our model rather than just a normal video call. I’m so incredibly proud of this team and what they’ve built.

Shameful of the Epstein-loving Speaker @MikeJohnson to stand in the way of protecting women from deepfake porn over something so petty
Will Steakin says the bipartisan Defiance Act, aimed at combating AI-generated nonconsensual intimate images, has stalled in the House despite unanimous Senate passage because, according to Politico's sources, Republican leadership doesn't want to hand AOC a win.

Debbie Wasserman Schultz is asking FL-20 to value her seniority more than our own representation. I reject that. Her years in Congress do not outweigh this district’s decades of Black leadership. Her title does not outweigh our community’s voice. Her political survival does not outweigh the needs of families trying to afford rent, medicine, childcare, and groceries. FL- 20 deserves someone fighting for this district because it is home, not because it is available

NEW: The morning after the socialists swept, the establishment had its excuse ready: Claire Valdez and Darializa Avila Chevalier only won because of gentrification. It was a convenient narrative. It is also false. And we can prove it: open.substack.com/pub/michae…

I may be tired and a little hoarse, but as I said again and again on the Senate floor, this is a moment where we cannot afford to be silent, when we must speak up. What’s most clear to me tonight is that this is just the beginning, that Americans across this country, no matter their title or party, are ready to be heard. I believe that history will show we rose to meet this moment. It will show we did not let the chaos and division go unanswered. It will show that when our president chose to spread lies and sow fear, we chose to come together, to work together, and to rise together.

Being “appalled” and “shocked” by Tim Walz poking fun at Tesla’s falling stock price, but not being “appalled” or “shocked” at its CEO gleefully making many thousands of Americans’ lives tangibly worse on a daily basis tells you all you need to know about Dean Phillips.
Former Congressman Dean Phillips says he doesn't "recognize" the Democratic Party anymore. "I don't recognize its principles. What I saw my governor and friend Tim Walz say today was appalling."

I strongly condemn the Trump admin’s decision to leave 26,000 innocent, vulnerable children without any legal representation in court. This inhumane decision leaves them at risk of deportation and abuse. I will stand up against this abuse of power.
