In addition to being unbelievably racist, this is also (obviously) totally false. Multiple Arab winners of the Nobel Prize (Bawendi, Karman, etc). And the Wolf Prize (Zeweil, Yaghi). And literature (Mahfouz, El Saadawi, etc). RFK Jr is a disgrace.
RFK: "There's five hundred million Arabs in the world. And yet they don't produce science. They don't win the Novel Prize. They don't win the Fields Prize. They don't win the Wolf Prize. They don't produce literature."

The President's plan is paused, not stopped. Now we need to make sure Congress does not provide funding to jump-start the destruction. If you want to keep East Potomac Park for the people, join us on Capitol Hill on November 12th! eventbrite.com/e/protect-eas…

Meta's "accidental" suspension of the No Kings Instagram account — at a time when the org was posting updates from ongoing marches — was not an anomaly. I found dozens of similar instances of Meta "mistakenly" targeting left-leaning activist accounts, often during crucial election windows. My latest.

Making golf courses look like environmental preserves turns out to be quite the tax strategy. It helped Donald Trump shelter more than $1 billion of income and save $450 million, according to Forbes estimates.

.@StephenM is DESPERATELY trying to preemptively scapegoat someone else in case the GOP loses TX. Now @TheAtlantic reports that "Big Ass Truck" voters in the Rio Grande are naming Miller by name, and profanely, to explain abandoning Trump. theatlantic.com/politics/202…

The president of the U.S. just talked about a female rapper’s posterior and you all are upset I was at a historically Black University’s homecoming on stage dancing and reciting lyrics. Y’all are clearly scared. I guess this is why. Let’s pink out the polls!

ICE agents broke a special-needs student’s wrist on his way to school in Santa Barbara County yesterday. He’s a U.S. citizen. They had the wrong person and left him with no medical care. He needed surgery. I hope he sues the crap out of them.

Nobody's shocked that Jason Miller is the one posting Bolsonaro's refusal to concede. Trumpworld isn't just watching Brazil, they're coordinating. Same playbook, same people, different country. The authoritarian network is global, and it's poison.

🧵Saw most of the new Musk documentary. You should see it. It is frightening. The woman he was seeing at the time of the 2024 elections with whom he had a child suggests that he suggested he may have done something with Starlink in the US 2024 elections, (beyond bribing people).

40K people got to see what we are fighting for today. And what are we fighting for? Access to space on public land. The desire to not see an entire multipurpose space converted to an upscale golf course. Real radical ideas… Let’s hope the MCM, and everyone else, can continue to use this park.

US: Bird flu has been spreading for around two months on a Utah mink farm holding thousands of animals. None have been culled, workers aren't being monitored, and the USDA says it doesn't regulate mink. So thousands of animals are exposed, workers could be at risk, and nobody seems to be taking responsibility. theguardian.com/us-news/2026…

Sharing @edwardwhitenz's excellent Fifth Plenum preview in @FT. Glad to be quoted. Most China watchers think a revived Party chairmanship is very unlikely. I'm not so sure. Deng and Jiang ruled through bargains among elders and factions, so they could step back safely. Xi rules by fear. He has taken down even Zhang Youxia, Miao Hua and Zhong Shaojun, his own trusted generals who seemed untouchable. A ruler like this cannot let go. And power ends at death. Only Mao got around that. Deng, twice purged by Mao, still would not repudiate him, because repudiating Mao meant repudiating the Party itself. That is the height Xi needs. Short of it, he will be torn down after he dies. ft.com/content/d11b743a-cd2c…
