Does America stand by the Afghan Allies who stood by it?

Only connect! That was the whole theory of change. Only connect policy and comms, and both will be exalted, and advocacy will be seen at its height. Live in silos no longer. Only connect, and the wonk and the flack, robbed of the condescension that is life to either, will die.

Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth's senior adviser on religious issues, Ryan Higgins, has said the “Separation of Church and State does not exist," railed against “the satanic cult of LGBTQ,” criticized gay adoption as “buying babies,” told women that "No ‘career’ will ever give you the fulfillment you’re looking for that can only be found from being a mother,” and compared abortion to the Holocaust, posting it was like “saying Nazi concentration camps were ethnic end-of-life care.”
Sources say Higgins has played a role in shaping some of Hegseth's most incendiary remarks on faith and religion, and is now a key player in the newly announced Office of Religious Affairs at the Pentagon.
