The future of #ArtificialIntelligence is not pre-determined. As a technology developed by human beings, its future depends on the choices we make. We therefore have the responsibility to guide, change and, when necessary, reject its applications. A reliable system that serves the human person is of greater value than one that is exceptionally powerful but whose consequences cannot be adequately foreseen or controlled.

MISSING PERSON
The Boulder County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a missing person on the evening of August 21, 2026, and search efforts are ongoing to locate Andrew Lord.
Andrew was last believed to be in the area of Winiger Ridge Campground, northwest of Gross Reservoir, Boulder County. Andrew is 42 years old, white male, 5’ 11”, 165lbs, hazel eyes and brown hair
Agencies and teams currently involved in the search include Boulder County Sheriff’s Office Emergency Services, Mounted Search and Rescue, Front Range Rescue Dogs, Boulder Emergency Squad, and Rocky Mountain Rescue Group.
Anyone with information about Andrew or who may know his current whereabouts is asked to contact the Boulder County Sheriff’s Office at 303-441-4444.
