But it feels very f***ing good to hear a British prime minister finally tell the country the truth about Brexit.
After a decade of denial, gaslighting and politicians pretending its damage was caused by everything except Brexit, Andy Burnham has named it for what it is: a cause of Britain’s stagnation and low growth.
Now act on that truth. Scrap the red lines and take us back into the single market.
Go @andyburnham
🎉 👏 Burnham has finally admitted that Brexit helped cause Britain’s decade of low growth. Good. But diagnosis without treatment is political theatre.
You can’t rebuild 🇬🇧 industry while maintaining barriers to our largest market. Scrap the red lines, rejoin the single market and give the country a genuine growth strategy.
There is still a gulf between diagnosis and delivery. @andyburnham names Brexit as a cause of stagnation without yet committing to the single market or customs union.
He promises public control without explaining ownership, financing or how profits will be prevented from leaking back to private investors.
So this is considerably better than continuity Starmer but it remains a prospectus. The October Budget will reveal whether Burnham genuinely intends to rewire the economy or merely describe its failures more honestly.

If Nigel Farage gets banned from Westminster, Reform is finished. What a great day that will be.

Two men who just can't shut up abut migrants are silent over the latest data.
- hotel use down
- arrivals down
- backlog down
- deportations up
Data they cannot manipulate
What does Yusuf do - posts about a single migtant attack........
Unpopular fact: Labour are solving Britain’s immigration issues.
Before you try to argue against that, go and look at the data.
Since Labour came into power:
Net immigration: ↓ 74%
Small boat arrivals: ↓ 44%
Asylum seekers in hotels: ↓ 46%
And continuing this trend.
Perhaps we don’t need a load of self-serving grifters being voted in next time around after all?

What is it about Reform that attracts morons?"

When this chap, probably the most informed individual in the world with regard to Russian corruption and 'black ops', tells you Farage, Banks, Reform and co. are Russian assets......it's time to pay proper attention

Zia Yusuf and the rest of Reform UK’s attack dogs will be extra loud this morning trying to drown this out.
Last night Labour took Penistone East (Barnsley) off them, a seat Reform won in May.
Labour 51.6% (+14.4)
Reform 23.8% (-6.7)
Three months. That’s how long the “comfortable” win lasted. 😂😂👇👇
