I’ve been watching the @NFL for 60 years. The entire game, not just a particular team. I was raised on it.
I’ve been advocating this for years. The league and the amount of money now dictate full-time dedicated officiating.
No more part-time seasonal employees that have outside careers in medicine, law, accounting, insurance, etc.
That tradition has become stupid.
No other pro-league does that. Nor should the nation’s most popular sport.

In July 2020, Watford City, North Dakota, police responded to a call about a parked vehicle early one morning.
Travis Heinze, a military veteran who documents police contacts while traveling and living out of his vehicle, had parked before sunrise after a night in the mid-40s°F.
A caller reported something unusual in the area.
Two female officers from the Watford City Police Department arrived.
According to Heinze’s recording, the interaction began as a check on the parked vehicle.
He questioned the basis for the contact, asked whether a call had actually been made, and offered to exchange identification.
Comments on the video note one officer briefly drawing her firearm as he stepped from the car, along with standard questions about weapons.
The officers ultimately left without issuing a citation, making an arrest, or filing charges.
❓Why would an officer draw a firearm while approaching a man who was simply stepping out of a parked car?
❓What rights does a person have when officers approach a legally parked car with no observed violation and start demanding ID?

Friendly reminder that US Army SPC Jakob Noonan (22), a member of the Oklahoma National Guard deployed to Washington, D.C. to make the city safer, is STILL facing criminal charges for having his personal firearm within city limits.
So the US Attorney for DC, Jeanine Pirro, thinks it's perfectly fine for Soldiers like SPC Noonan to patrol the city armed with literal machine guns to keep city residents safe but it's not okay for SPC Noonan to have his personal handgun with him to keep himself safe.
Also important to point out - Ms. Pirro works for President Trump and is part of "the most pro 2nd Amendment administration ever."
If you don't want to see this young man go to DC prison and rot in solitary confinement (we know how DC jails treat veterans...) then contact President Trump and Mr. Pirro at the email/phone numbers in the video below to get these unconstitutional charges dropped 🦅👊🏽
