The massive Saharan dust plume which turned skies deep red over parts of Greece on 1 April was very clear in the #CopernicusAtmosphere dust aerosol optical depth forecast, with another plume predicted to reach Cyprus on 3 April.

Compare the water levels: on November 2, 2024, it was much higher, but by November 9, 2025, it has dropped significantly.
I watched a video from two days ago at Amir Kabir Dam where a traveler shows the water is now so shallow that he can actually walk through it.
