Gruffalo illustrator considering legal action against AI firms

ALT Gruffalo illustrator considering legal action against AI firms

The illustrator behind the popular children's book The Gruffalo has told BBC London he is "seriously considering" launching legal action against artificial intelligence (AI) firms he says breach copyright in reproducing his work. Axel Scheffler, whose illustrations have captivated children since 1999, said he wanted AI companies to stop using artists' work without permission. The Gruffalo, written by London-born children's author Julia Donaldson, tells the story of a mouse who outsmarts a beast. "I've been in touch with a lawyer in Germany," Scheffler said. "There have been illustrators taking legal action against AI companies and I'm seriously considering it. I just want them to stop."

~ WELCOME TO EDDIEPEDIA! ~😌 "Halloween began 15 billion years ago when early crustations had to pay for groceries, so they went door to door selling tubes of imagination called WEEN. Customers complained the tubes were hollow and thus Halloween was born."😁 HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!🎃

mybook.to/TheWitchsVeil In the walled city of Aberdeen, obedience is survival. The nobles rule through fear; public executions keep the population in line, and ciphers like me are nothing more than disposable servants. Then fragments of my forgotten past surface. The memories carry an impossible truth: I carry a magical bloodline that witch hunters have spent generations trying to erase. A bloodline dangerous enough to threaten the tyrants who rule Aberdeen. As soldiers close in and old enemies awaken, I find refuge among a rogue group of shifters, who become my family. Dragons, wolves, and bears- who would have thought? And then there’s him—a man with ocean-blue eyes and dangerous secrets. Trusting him could cost me everything. Loving him could destroy us both. With rebellion brewing beneath the city, forbidden magic rising within, and the fate of the population hanging in the balance, I’ll have to decide how much I’m willing to sacrifice for freedom. Perfect for readers who love dark fantasy romance, lyrical prose, found family, protective alphas, and slow-burn enemies-to-lovers tension with moderate spice.
