I'm supporting #WeAreNature
I’m supporting the #WeAreNature campaign because we are a part of Nature, not apart from it. Language is important- it’s not only how we define things , it’s what defines us . . . @WeAreNature.campaign

Keep bats in mind when you are gardening. Think 'Bed & Breakfast', i.e. providing roosting spaces (like a bat box) and attracting insects through features such as ponds and by having a wide selection of plants. Download our FREE leaflets here: bats.org.uk/advice/gardening…

Let the dandelions grow! They support over 50 insects species, and are a great early season food source for pollinators like bees, butterflies, hoverflies. No need to mow and ps don't use weedkiller. More: bitly.com/2FYQUhp RT if you're on board 🐝

10% VAT for Hospitality businesses now.
‘THIS IS AN EMERGENCY’ - MANCHESTER’S HOSPITALITY SCENE CALLS FOR GOVERNMENT TO REDUCE VAT TO 10%
Our hospitality scene is in crisis.
Restaurants across the country are closing at an alarming rate, and many chefs, owners and operators across Manchester are ‘on a cliff edge’.
They are calling for a reduction in VAT to 10% from the current crippling rate of 20%, more than double the average seen across Europe.
It would ease the pressure they’re facing from rocketing energy bills and the cost of raw materials.
Your favourite restaurant could close tomorrow.
To stop that happening, watch our film and sign the petition here: bit.ly/3vVMp5A

If we love watching shows on the wonders of nature but don’t like seeing the reality of its rampant destruction (along with solutions & stories of heroes) perhaps we should complain instead to governments & industries giving us energies, materials & products that are wrecking it?

If you want to be more sustainable this Christmas, use brown or plain paper instead of standard Christmas wrapping paper.
