Things that used to be normal: - A dentist handing you a toothbrush instead of a payment plan. - A restaurant giving you bread without charging for it. - A new appliance coming with a printed instruction manual. - A hotel room having an actual alarm clock. - A department store wrapping your Christmas presents. Somewhere along the way, the little extras became things we had to pay extra for.

Good morning, my friends. I've been thinking about those old family photographs from the 1970s and 1980s. The ones where nobody was dressed perfectly, somebody had their eyes closed, the living room furniture was hideous, and half the people weren't even looking at the camera. Nobody cared about getting the perfect picture. We were just living our lives. And now, decades later, those imperfect photographs are the ones we treasure most. I think there's a lesson in that. Somewhere along the way, we started believing everything needed to look perfect. Our homes, our families, our careers, even our happiness. But the older I get, the more I realize that a beautiful life rarely looks perfect from the outside. It's messy. It's unpredictable. Sometimes it's downright exhausting. And it's still worth celebrating. So whatever your life looks like this morning, don't compare it to somebody else's highlight reel. You don't need a picture-perfect life to have a life worth being proud of. Have a beautiful morning, my friends.

Good morning X! Happy Saturday! It’s a beautiful day this morning even if I didn’t get much sleep last night… the girls got tucked in at normal time and were very ready to wake up!

Good morning, my X friends! ☀️☕️ Next to my kids, this is probably one of my favorite humans in the world. I met him the year my dad died, when my world was turned upside down. He is a September 11th World Trade Center survivor AND a sarcoma cancer survivor. We had some amazing conversations back in 2018, and he really helped me put my own life into perspective. I absolutely love that he is healthy and joins us every year for Hunt for the Cure. Some people come into your life at just the right time, and he was one of them. 🩷

The outrageous outfits. The bug-eyed expressions. The way he could steal an entire scene without saying a word. Don Knotts turned Mr. Furley into one of the most unforgettable characters in sitcom history. Describe Mr. Furley with ONE word.
