But what we really want to know is what do three random people in West Bromwich think of Starmer. Thank God for the 6 o’clock news! #wasteofgoodtime

I’m not sure those espousing a ban on marches protesting a genocide as a means of fighting anti-semitism have thought it through fully. Associating British Jews with Israel’s crimes isn’t going to make anyone safer. More likely the opposite. Stupid idea.
Can someone explain what’s wrong with Starmer saying yes, we knew Mandelson was a risk but thought it one worth taking because of his relationship with Trump? Everyone knew that and most people thought it also worth taking at the time.

What an odd way to admit that your staff are committing crimes, and to let them know they won’t get in trouble when they commit more.
Apart from the small matter of killing tens of thousands of people, their actions have now increased food and fuel prices for everyone else. Isn’t it time they were sanctioned?

Have written about the truth Starmer cannot say: he appointed Mandelson to the court of Trump not in spite of his relationship with Epstein but in a sense because of it, because of what it represented. Many congratulated him for it at the time. And are now pretending they didn’t.
I write about that hypocrisy. And one of my own.

The combined tuition fees of the entire Question Time panel would not cover my cost for 1 year of uni.
Is that fair?
Surely the only reason Mandelson was appointed was because Starmer calculated his potential as a Trump whisperer outweighed the obvious risks. Epstein linked them both but not something anyone seems keen to talk about.

✍️ READ: My @theipaper column today on why Rachel Reeves’ defence of the scandalous student loan system betrays young people - and might prove to be her biggest mistake yet.
There seems to be no one who doesn’t think student loans are a scandal so how come Government is doing diddly squat about it?
At this rate the Tories might be electable again soon.
